Anette adjusted the hem of her shirt, and brushed the hair out of her eyes. She took two deep breaths, and then looked straight onto the stage.
District 4....Cali stood with the other 17 year olds. Her big buff arms folded as usual. She glared up at the stage, somewhat tense.
Annette clenched her hands together. and looked over at her father and smiled wryly. She was 18 her name was in there almost 100 times. her chances of getting chosen where unbearably huge.
Meanwhile in District 12...
Cirsta shifted from one foot to the other. She was the only one in her village who didn't family. Her name was sure to be there more times than she could count. It was hard living on your own. She shifted in her new dress. She hated dresses.

In District 9...........Jasmine stands calmly her gray dress fitting her perfectly as she waits for the reaping to begin.
in district 7....Kayla waited anxiously at the reaping. Please don't be me, please don't be me..the same thought reverberated through her skull as she pleaded with her own fate.
In District 11...
Ishann stood in the crowd, stoic and not really paying attention. He didn't want to be picked, but if he was he was going to be stoic until the end, which was just about guaranteed to happen. He stared up at the stage, his arms crossed and his mouth set.
His name was in there too many times.
