Destination: Roleplay!!!!! discussion

Layla scampered down the steps three at a time. seeing her ride drive up to the end of the steps she waved and hopped in. Well, I finally got some friends, she thought.

Jesse looked up at the front of the school. And sighed. 'Another school, another lot if teacher to traumatize' He though to himself, trying to make light of the situation. He went up the steps ans sat down on a row near the top. He took his cigarette out of his mouth and killed it beneath his converse. He smirked, So much for quitting. With that he started reading "The best of Edgar Allan Poe", keeping it so that no other people could see he was reading, and waiting for the school day to end.

Lacey came out the school, humming a silly little tune she'd heard the night before under her breath. Not many kids had left yet...and she saw a lone figure at the top of the stairs and decided she could see what she could do in some spare time before her mom came.

Jesse was having the weirdest dream. A weird little blue monkey was jumping up and down, and in its mouth keys to a new Ferrari were just... dangling. But whenever he went for them the monkey would leap just out of reach. On top of this there was a weird tune the monkey was dancing to. Jesse woke with a start, his head had been in his book, where he was reading 'The Monkeys Paw'. So that's where the basis of his dream had come from. But... The tune was still playing. He looked up and around to see a rather pretty brunette with brown eyes walking toward him. He shoved his book under his jacket and pretended to be texting on his phone.

"Hey, you don't have to scared to be seen with a book," Lacey laughed when she saw him, "It's not like they're banned or anything."

Jesse looked at her weirdly. Then he got out his book and continued to read. Then he realized the only reason the girl would be there was if school had finished. He looked at the time on his phone and sure enough, it had finished. "Schools out, eh?" He said to himself. Jesse looked up at her. "What is your name?" He asked, in a quiet voice. Quiet but not shy.

"Yep, school's out," Lacey said with a little grin, and then replied with a small grin, "I'm Lacey. And you?"

"Jesse" He said, standing up respectively and to stretch the twinging muscle in his neck. "I gotta go, but... I recognize you from somewhere.You live anywhere near The town fountain? "

"Yeah," Lacey grinned, surprised that he knew her, "The white house with the green doors."

"Oh Yeah? Your only Two houses down. I have the black house with the white roof." He said. "You being picked up or do you want me to walk you?" He asked, trying not to sound flirtatious.

"Um well I'm not being picked up," Lacey said with a little shrug, not wanting to sound needy...but she really didn't like walking alone, "Sure."

Jesse turned his head to hide a happy sort of smile. "Well we had better set off now. All kinds of weirdos could be lurking in the shadows"

((Idk....I'm ok with both...you?))

"Yeah, like the boogeyman!" Lacey rolled her eyes.

"Brilliant!" He walked off pulling her along by the hand.
