the female man by joanna russ (its 'sci fi' but its basically a womans feminist manifesto from the 70s.) some stuff is outdated biological essentialism but oh man im really digging it so far
I may as well go first: a couple of books I've read before that I think'd be cool to discuss are The Third Policeman (Irish humorous surreal journey through an ~alternative world~) and Wuthering Heights. I was looking at reading Dead Souls soon
OH YES daphny i read that on anna anthropy's recommendation and it's really really awesome right now i'm bad at analysing things but i dug the HELL out of that
I was thinking maybe something like The Industrialisation of Soviet Russia Volume 5: The Years of Hunger: Soviet Agriculture 1931-1933 by R. W. Davies

I am really into stuff about radical politicans, dictators, also philosophy books. I especially love scifi with political themes (as scifi tends to have) like the classics 1984 and F451, and usually prefer stuff with stories rather than dry theories and research and stuff. GLBTQ books are always a go, as well :)
I've been trying to find a good book on the history of the Black Panther Party so I can learn more of what they're really like. Does anyone know of any good books on them?
