Biography discussion

Just started reading H. W. Brands's biography of U. S. Grant. Looks good. He has some new material. Have you read any Grant biographies? I gather McFeely's is one of the best. Brands mentions it. He also says there have been over 100 Grant biographies. It looks like Brands is going to give Grant a better review as president than other books, but I'm not there yet.
