Most publisher give you the option...but send your writing first. Alot of what I've read abotu publishing mention nogt priding your work enough to have your name on it.

You need to send works to a publisher under your given name so they know who to write the check to.

but Mckenzie... you know my last name, so you can see the irony in it, can't you? And don't go around giving them hints, because the only possible hint to give makes it REALLY obvious what my last name is, and, again, I don't want that on the internet.

Your last name ISN'T hard to pronounce. People are just lazy and don't pay attention when they read names. I mean, you can literally sound your last name out, Mckenzie.

I think if I do (somehow) get published I would prefer using a pen name. I wouldn't want people at work to know that I've written anything, especially if I decide to use them for inspiration. It'll be weird, ehehehe

Yeah, I know. I just hate going, "no! E-G-A-R at the end, not I-G-E-R." Or reminding them it's T-E-R at the beginning, not T-W-I. XD

my last name's pretty easy to pronounce.

My last name isn't hard to pronounce it just sounds weird with my elaborate first name.

I can't think of a pen name....otherwise I would use one maybe something like Liza Martin or Mina Rose :)
