Destination: Roleplay!!!!! discussion

Kane was lurking in the shadowy parts of the woods, the wind blowing his long, black hair. He enjoyed places like this.

Drane leaned against a tree, shrugging into his jacket after a recent change. His brother Jake was in town, so he was alone.

Kane turned invisible. He enjoyed being the evil spirit that he was. But when he was invisible, he sensed Drane.

Drane looked up suddenly, and narrowed his eyes as he smelled something strange.
"I'm gonna kill anyone who's trying to sneak up on me," he said, "And by the way, you're not a very good sneak," he added with a smirk, looking around for the presence he felt.

There was a growl from Kane close by. But he remained invisible.

"And I hear you..." Drane said, cocking his head in the direction of the growl, "You're not exactly subtle."

A girl with blue hair was sitting up in a tree, her legs hanging off the branch. When she heard people talking she suddenly jumped up onto the branch and her hair shortened and turned to a dark brown, the same color as the tree.

Drane whirled around as she hit the ground, his eyes narrowing, and a growl sounding in his throat.
"But you," he said in the direction of the new noise, "You're pretty good."

The girl froze, literally almost as a statue.
(Why not.)

Then Kane growled again, still remaining invisible.

A tiny squeak escaped her throat when she heard the growl.

Then Kane appeared, wisps of black smoke swirling around him, and he stared down at the girl.

The girl slipped and fell from her tree, hitting the ground and rolling.

Kane took a few steps towards her, growling softly.

The girl hurried to get up and turned as she did so, jumping and grabbing a branch. She pulled herself up and balanced herself with a monkey-like tail that appeared behind her.

Kane did nothing but stare up at her with his red eyes.

The girl blew a raspberry and climbed up higher.

Kane just growled at her softly.

The girl reached as high as she could, holding on to the main part with her tail.

Kane walked over to the tree, thinking about whether he should climb it or not.

The girl pulled sticks from the small branches above her and tossed them down at his head.

Kane growled as she did, but he remained perfectly still, except for some small movements of his head. He let the sticks fall on his head.

The girl stopped for a moment, wondering why he was so still.

Kane's head slowly looked up at her, his red eyes glowing.

She jumped, clinging to the tree.

Kane silently watched her jump, remaining still.

Her hair slowly returned to blue, as she was confused and not focusing on that.

Kane kept his eyes on her. He was only moving his head and eyes.

The girl stood up on her branch, still holding the tree with her arm and tail.

Then Kane began to circle the tree.

She watched quietly and nervously.

"Uh, hello?" Drane muttered, watching them, "Am I like invisible or something?"

The girl looked from the thing beneath her to Drane, the nervous look in her eye never fading.

"I'm guessing you have no idea what it is as well?" Drane asked her with a raised eyebrow.

She didn't say anything, or really move at all.

"Silent one, huh?" Drane said, and then looked at the creature under the tree. It smelled like a wolf...but it was acting like no other wolf he'd known.

The girl watched them both quietly.

"Okay," Drane said with an exaggerated sigh, "Here goes."
He stepped forward and punched it, rocking it on it's feet a little.

A snarl came out of Kane. As soon as Drane punched him, he spun around and slapped his huge hand around Drane's throat and began to choke him, snarling as he did.

"Nice try," Drane said as best he could through being choked, and pulled the creature's hands apart and dropped to the ground with a grin, "You're not the only paranormal in the woods," he said.

A raspy growl came out. "I know."

"So...don't grab me again," Drane said.

"I will when I want to," Kane snarled, his eyes glowing redder.

"Then you'll get me really angry," Drane said softly, his eyes narrowed, "You don't want that....trust me."

"Same to you," Kane growled. "You have no idea what kind of horrible monster I am."

"I can see alright," Drane said, "And you're ugly."

The girl took her opportunity and launched herself from tree to tree, staying barely close enough to where she could still see and hear them.

"And you are a werewolf," Kane replied, narrowing his eyes and eyeing him closely.
