We've already had our first nomination for September. It is William Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury nominated by Aloha. Keep the nominations coming.

The Sound and the Fury is amazing! I won't make nominations for September since it looks like we'll be doing The Tin Drum (which I nominated) for August.
OK, nominations for our September read have been open for almost a month and to date the only book nominated is William Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury. I will close nominations on Friday next, 24th August.
My vote goes to The Sound and the Fury so I will hold my nomination until later in year. I have had this book on my TBR shelf forever so would appreciate the chance to be motivated to read and discuss it.
Never mind. It just occurred to me to check the main page, where it says the discussion will start on the 17th. Oh, good, because I am very, very behind in my book reviews.

Too many good books are being waved in front of my nose, and great people to have a discussion with! Not a bad problem to have.

And oops! I'm not even done with The Tin Drum. I'm really going through it slowly. Not that it's a bad book, it's just that I've been really busy lately. :/
I hear ya about real life. That's what takes up most of my time. Whine, whine, whine. It's. Good thing I don't need much sleep.
It might be a good idea to convert our September read to our October read and move the start date for The Sound and the Fury to say, October 1st? What do you think?
