Ron (ronzonie7) | 20 comments I know some have finished...I am going to try and muscle through. What is next? Something off the previous list? Any new books out there?

How 'bout you finish first?

I started The Art of Fielding last night.

Billy Middleton | 5 comments I just got Pulphead, a book of essays by John Jeremiah Sullivan, a couple weeks ago. It's supposed to be a strong read if nonfiction is your thing. Dave Eggers and Richard Ford both published new novels recently. I've also heard good things about The Mansion of Happiness: A History of Life and Death, by Jill Lepore.

Art of Fielding would also be a fine choice with me.

Art of Fielding sounds like it would be fine.

I'll try to come up with a suggestion that isn't part of a damn series, because so much of what I read seems to be.

Shaun Nelson | 18 comments I am also interested in reading Outliers, its non fiction, same author as the Tipping Point which I enjoyed

Billy Middleton | 5 comments One of my students last semester recommended Outliers to me. It sounds interesting.

Billy Middleton | 5 comments I realize we already have our next book poll up, but for the following one, a possibility to add might be Jonathan Tropper's One Last Thing Before I Go. Seems to be getting some pretty strong buzz.

Joshua (jaysix) | 26 comments I'm reading Stephen Ambrose's Nothing Like it in the World about the men who built the railroads. Not a super long book. Very interesting to me, I'm not sure if would have wide appeal.

I think Stunt had a poll, I'll go check that out.

Joshua (jaysix) | 26 comments Okay, I just saw that the poll is closed. Of the 3 (since they tied with 3 votes apiece), the Windup Girl seems most interesting to me, fwiw. None of them seem like horrible choices.
