Yeah, Jane Austen is my favorite, so I've read all of her stuff already =)
You guys are funny!
I'm glad everyone feels so strongly about the variety of choices for next month.

I'm new, but out of those I'd prefer the jane Austen book since I was thinking I should read it the other day! Not a fan of Catcher in the Rye. Eek. =)
Finally...a reason for me to force myself to read Catcher in the Rye. I am so doing this..I'm gettin' the book today (since I'm already planning a trip to the library)
I went to the library today and in our whole system there isn't one copy of it. How disappointing. I might be forced to buy it if I can't find a copy from the campus library.
No copies? How strange...though I once read somewhere that it's one of the most often stolen books from libraries. The number one book stolen is always the Bible...ah, irony.

I've never read Catcher in the Rye either, and I'm also going to see if I can pick it up at the library today.
(I'm a newbie -- hello!)

So, I was about to get the book today from the Curriculum Library on campus but was told that I couldn't get the only copy in the whole city that's available because I'm no longer a student. I was about ready to tear my hair out as the copy I'd requested was overdue.
If someone else wants to set up chapters while I wait for my copy then go right ahead.
