I should finish this one tonight. Not one of my favorites, but certainly not awful.

Just finished! I feel the same, Aaron.

Counted. Thanks David!

toria (vikz writes) (victoriavikzwrites) This was a much better book than the one I was expecting. I expected a very narrow focused book with a single narrator. This book, with its multi pov’s, has a broader focus than is hinted at in the title. It not only highlights the inhumanity of slavery but also tells of the degeneration of a society. It was also refreshing to read a slave story which is not based in the USA. This book turned out to be a rich multi-layered text and it proved to be a satisfying read. It deserves its place on the long list.(For more info read my review at http://vikzreadsthebooker.wordpress.c...) 4 stars

If I were to read more Brink, which works would you suggest?
