I just finished Fahrenheit 451. It's an oldie but a goodie, and somehow I never had to read it in school growing up. I really liked it and it gave me a lot to think about. Also, I am starting in on "the giver" series. The giver has always been one of my favorite books but I've never read others in the series yet.
Also, matched, crossed, and whatever the third in the series was called was pretty darn good!!
Divergent is my fav! But this summer I read these books that are similar and pretty good
Cinder (slow start)
Enclave (really cool)
Prodigy
Cinder and enclave have a third book coming out soon!

Matched is on my "to read" list :)

I personally love The Legend trilogy. ( third one comes out Nov. 5th) and would highly recommend them!
I tend to read older dystopian novels but they are goodbdespite their age and surprisingly still apply to our society today. My favorite is Fahrenheit 451, but 1984, Brave New World, and A Clockwork Orange are really good, too.
Anything in the Afterblight Chronicles are amazing. I personally prefer the Schools Out Forever series. The title is completely misleading, no this book is not to indulge middle schoolers in their summer vacation fantasies. Lots of inner conflict with the main character lee. While reading this book you build a strong internal bond with the characters. Lots of blood, cursing, and feelings. Not a book for weaklings, and after reading this book you feel like a badass!
Dark Life series is good! I loved like every second of it. At first it was odd because it's underwater. But it's pretty neat. Quick easy read.
