How many of you could relate to this story? I found it very real and touching.

I found this book very unsettling and dark. I kept waiting for something good or meaningful to happen which never did happen. Danielle Steel has sunk to a new low with this one. I think she's grasping at straws with subject material.

I found this book dissappointing. All it gave me was a feeling of disgust as I continued reading. I kept reading it anyway for the hope of finding something meaningful and maybe inspiring but it kept giving me dissapointments. The deaths I think are somewhat too much to handle.
I just didn't like it.
I just didn't like it.
I felt this book was not typical of Danielle Steel. Usually the characters are dealing with 1 horrific event and trying to overcome it. This book was just about how one tragic event was happening after another. I found it depressing. I hope this isn't the way she plans to write in the future. If so, she has lost one longtime reader.
The deaths were just so sad and disappointing. The death of Andy for example i felt was meaningless like *lets get rid of him now in the story* and keep izzie and sean sort of thing. The beginning however was lovely and how the story progresses from KG up to adult life and responsibilities. I did like the reality aspect in the story it wasn't all happy happy and unrealistic, it was very real and relatable to what happens in our fast lives today. Despite the good ending of izzie and sean i would have prefered the story to be less depressing.
This was my first book i read by Danielle Steel and i did enjoy it . It was depressing at times but learning about the friends who knew each other from a young age was interesting to read as they then grew older together and faced dramatic and horrible events in their life
I really enjoyed it
