the title says it all. I perspnaly love both but prefer the infernal Devices. I liked Tessa more than Clary and loved her ablitly to shape shift

I have been dying to read the Infernal Devices! I just haven't gotten to the bookstore yet! ALthough I know I already agree with you, Clary's never been a favorite of mine.

WHAT!!! I love Clary <3 she is such a good person and knows what she has to do to save the people she loves...she's a lot like Tessa

I honestly dont know if I could choose. There are just so many characters I love from both books. I love Jace, Will, Jem, its so hard to chooses! :)

Why haven't I weighed in?

I strongly dislike Clary. She's whiny. And waaaay too strung up on Jace. After she learns (view spoiler)[she's Valentine's daughter (hide spoiler)], she rushes into things without thinking and endangers everyone. The impulse-driven heroine is not my thing.

Tessa is a lot like me, so I'm biased. She is strong and doesn't rely on others very often, and I admire that.

Will Herondale won my heart over with his demon pox song. End of story. Herondale is lord.

I totally agree with Rose. Clary just isn't my favorite. I like Tessa a lot better. First she reads, second she loves A Tale of Two Cities, and three she's perfectly capable of being without a man. I mean Magnus rocks too, but luckily he's in both series. Don't you guys think Magnus looked a little weird in the Infernal Devices manga?

I just got really sick of Jace and Clary. I've never liked Clary, she's a whiny little brat who is irrational and irritating, so I just couldn't handle another book with such an unsympathetic character. And Jace was getting old. "I love you...no I don't. Lol we're siblings jk....SIKE I LOVE YOU AGAIN...no, we can't be together" like seriously, kill me now

I really, really loved the serious for the first three books, and then they lost their quality. I kind of just want to remember the series with those original 3 instead of ending on such a low note.

Plus I'm not emotionally prepared to deal with Malec feels again because fuck you COFA

i was excited for the dark artifices until i found out jace and the others were making an appearance. and emma was in COHF, correct? I don't understand what's so wrong about using your imagination nowadays
