I just joined this group and wanted to introduce myself. I am a total bookaholic and I’m also a published author. I read about 3 books a month. And I am a huge fan of this author and really enjoy reading her books. I look forward to making new friends with fellow booklovers.

I love reading and I just stumbled onto the Lux series. I just finished the prequel to the series and I loved it, started Obsidian today. Looking forward to discussing the series. ; )

Hi :) Reading is my refuge, and when I come across a world as unique as Jen has created I get hooked. I love LUX :D

Yeah, I love the covenant series! :D Cannot choose between Seth or Aiden, I need to get Deity as soon as possible! :D

So was I, I was always Aiden until Seths reaction after she took the Brew..I just wish Aiden would get to be with her D:

My copy of Deity *still* hasn't come in the mail yet -_-
I pre-ordered it in May yet I didn't get my copy first. When I contacted B&N they said they were "out of stock" so I had to wait. Make any sense to you? *sigh*

At least it's on it's way now so I'll read it this coming weekend! I didn't want any spoilers so I've been avoiding the Half-Bloods group like the plague LOL

yeah...I am wondering what your going to think of the whole seth and Alex situation.

Love JLA! But I didn't love Cursed. The first book ever I didn't like by her. I was a little shocked but I don't really like the whole TOUCH OF DEATH thing.

I don't know what he's done but I'm planning on sticking by Seth's side. When I pick a guy I tend to stick with them no matter what but we'll see.

I read Cursed when I was on a JLA withdrawal of sorts lol. I'm not a fan of the touch of death thing either but I seemed to have loved Cursed. Sorry you didn't like it as much!

And I'm looking forward to that too Em! I'm not the biggest fan of her adult novels but that's because I prefer YA and 1st person narration. I actually only tend to read adult novels by my absolute favorite authors.

I'm reading it now. I'm going to finish tonight since I'm on page 300 or so

You should definitely read shadows it one of the most adoreable books i have ever read plus Dawson looks exactly like Daemon,cant complain right?:)

Yep. Got an ARC back in July. Loved it! Now I can't wait for Opal! Just a couple more weeks...

I had heard of this series but the .99 deal on Amazon reeled me in. I had to immediately get all the books after reading Obsidian. July release date for Origin is TOO long a wait! really!?! Urgghh!

Ya, Daemon can be a jerk, but he's the sweetest, most thoughtful and romantic jerk in any galaxy. The Daemon POV chapters are my fave. Love him!

We do don't we? Bad boys are just so...I don't know, addictive I guess. It's because we all know that even though they pretend to be jerks on the outside, they're also vulnerable and extremely sweet when you get to know them. Haha

I guess in the real world bad boys never turn out to be good. Thats the great thing about books. It gives us a way to experience something as hot as a bad boy, with out the baggage that usually comes with them.
Daemon is one of my favourite characters, because even when he is being a jerk, i still want to jump him. I also love how Katy is always describing how attracted to him she is, even if she doesnt admit it out loud to him. Its how i would be if i was her. He makes her go gaga even when she doesnt want to be into him.

I love that about him too. He was a jerk because Dee meant everything to him when he thought Dawson was dead. I just love how protective he is of Katie as well.
