Don't know about the romance part (so far I've only read book 1) but "Feed" by Mira Grant. Books 2 and 3 are "Deadline" and "Blackout". I am waiting for the boyfriend to finish book 3 so I can borrow 2 and 3 to read back to back.A teen book that is coming out soon is pretty good with a romance brewing "Something Strange and Deadly". I read an ARC of it not too long ago and it is book 1 of new series.
I just finished a good one that had a zombie love interest for the main character:
"Night of the living Trekkies". Fan fiction but decent. Don't have to be hard core fan to follow, but there are a lot of inside jokes. Zombies at a Trek Con. Need I say more?
