Aslin sat down on a log, by the fire. She felt it warm her face, lighting it up. Though she wanted to feel happy, she couldn't. All those trees they cut down, gone to waste. She felt the pain.
Sixx sauntered into the vicinity of the bonfire, his eyes closing in delight at the warm feeling of the fire's presence. He sat on the log opposite of Aslin. He glanced at her, being able to feel the aura of sorrow radiating from her."What's got you down?" He asked, canting his head to the side.
Aslin jumped at the sound of the guy's voice. She looked at him, startled. "The trees. They are dying. Well, dead now."
"Oh... tree lover?" He asked her. He would say 'tree hugger' but the nickname seemed rather harsh. Perhaps... this feminine had earth based abilities, no? He didn't like the idea of vegetation being cut down, but it didn't make him... depressed such as she was.
He nodded, realising he had seemingly offended her when he had been trying to refrain from doing so. His attempt had been to no avail."Never heard of it... Are you basically what humans call mother nature?" He asked her.
Aslin nodded. "I protect nature. I'm like Persephone, but I don't live in the underworld. I feel nature's pain and starvation if it gets to be too much."
"Interesting," he purred, smiling faintly. Perhaps this ought to be taken into account, and the camp instructors could replant a few of the trees that had been cut down, just to lessen her pain and sorrows."My name is Sixx, by the way…" he proclaimed.
Sixx leaned forward, his hand reaching over the fire with no issue of heat, as fire was an element that he was familiar with. Taking her hand in his, he shook her hand gently before letting go, returning his hand to his lap."So you came out here to enjoy the warmth of the fire?" He asked her.
"Same... I suppose. I can create a fire wherever, but I prefer the bonfire where it is less likely that I will end up setting something on fire." He laughed faintly, stretching his arms above his head in an act of stretching."You're not tired though?" He asked her.
Aslin shook her head. "I don't sleep." It was true because what if there was something going on over night and she didn't know it? PLus, she didn't need it.
"You can't sleep or you don't sleep?" He asked, arching his eyebrows. However, he was pretty sure he knew what she meant; she just didn't need to sleep."Hey, you want to hang out sometime? You interest me..."
Aslin shrugged. "I don't sleep. At all. And sure." She didn't know what he meant by 'interest' but who cares? She had a friend.
"What do you do on your free time?" He asked her. For some reason she struck him as someone who would sit under a tree and write poems and/or stories, or perhaps draw or paint. That was what he did sometimes, but other than that, he didn't have a hobbies and hoped to adopt her.
Aslin shrugged again. "I live in the woods. Listen to music. Heal plants and animals. Reading. Stuff like that." She was trying to write a story but it was going slow.
"You're out here all the time?" His eyebrows furrowed in slight concern, but then again, she was all about nature. Surely, she wasn't bothered by it."What abilities do you have?"
Aslin nodded, transporting next to him. "I can do that, hear animals thoughts, sense people near, and much more."
He flinched slightly, having not been expecting something so unexpected."Cool... are your powers unlimited or something? You always have 'more.'"
"How misfortunate..." He murmured, frowning slightly. If she died, foliage would too? It was bad enough people were destroying the planet all on their own."Are you... Immortal?" He asked hesitantly.
"Ha..." He groaned mentally really, seeing as they had another practically invincible person on their hands."Any questions about me?" He questioned, canting his head to the side.
"It would be nice -- since I asked you so much," he proclaimed, an amused smile spreading across the surface of his countenance.
"Hmmm…" he mulled over the question, unable to pick between three colors."Blue probably, but gray and black are close seconds… red is the third."
"I expected that answer," he murmured, standing up abruptly to touch the air with his pale fingertips, stretching his arms and his spinal cord."Do you want to go do something -- right now?" I'm feeling a little bored.
"I have no idea -- hoped you did…" he proclaimed, standing up and wiping invisible debris from off his attire.
