I'm so confused! Is Max a blonde or a brunette?
I think I remember reading in the book that she looks at herself in the mirror, and thinks about how plain she is. Brown eyes, brown hair.
But then again, the girl on the cover is blonde, and I always imagine Max blonde.
Is she a dirty blonde? A mix between blonde and brunette?
What do you guys think?

in the manga she is blonde so Iv'e just always gone with that...
in the book james actually said light brown but the pictures show blonde so idk
I'm with Fran. Light brown hair with blond highlights. MAXIMUM RIDE RULES.

I think she has brown hair streaked with blonde...thats how i imagine it. so...dirty blonde/brunette.
I think dirty blonde, but not too dark.But that's just the way I see her.
Brunette because Max lays in bed with Angel while thinking about her looks and I remember her saying she was boring. Brown hair and brown eyes. But Angel says her eyes are pretty, like the inside of those chocolates before Gazzy barfs them up. Anyone else remember that?
I think she's blonde, but I always pictured her with brown hair.
I always pictured her Blond like on the cover.
What I think happens is that she is blonde in the first book and fades to a darker hair color naturally throughout the series to become more brunette. Idk I may be wrong...
I've always pictured Max as a brunette... I don't know what she really is though.
