Alright Potterheads. Here's a subject that will get people going...

The night Lily and James died, Voldemort attempted to kill Harry Potter, as well. In book 7, Dumbledore had said that the reason Voldemort's soul latched on to Harry's was because it was the only living thing left in the house. However, Lily mentioned in a letter that they owned a cat. If the cat had been anywhere near the scene, part of Voldemort's soul could have latched onto the cat, causing the cat to become a horcrux. What if, hypothetically, Voldemort really isn't dead?
