Not the Black Dahlia case, but I will definitely recommend
by Truman Capote as an excellent read. My review (which I did post in the currently reading thread, sorry!) http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

For an Australian book I loved Michael Duffy's Call Me Cruel, published early this year about the Kylie Labouchardiere case. Killer Paul Wilkinson sent police to five locations and they have never discovered Kylie's body yet. The book has great access to Kylie's family and ex-husband, and Wilkinson's ex-wife. Reads like a novel except it's all true. Chilling.
Call Me Cruel by Michael Duffy...thanks Wendy. I've had this one on my TBR for awhile, and Michael (of the candy cane) has read it too...I must get to it soon!
I've not long finished Dead by Friday by Australian writer Derek Pedley. Highly recommended for true crime buffs. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Phrynne wrote: "Nice Girl by Rachael Jane Chin. It sounds interesting!"Strange case. This is on my list. I'm just waiting for the Kindle price to come down to something more affordable.
