How about we get to know the fellow members of our group? I'll start.

Hi! My name is Katlyn and I'm one of the moderators for this group (obviously). My favourite books series is Harry Potter, I'm a Ravenclaw. I just finished The Maze Runner by James Dashner (which I would highly recommend). I'm from Canada and I spend way too much time at the library.

My name is Amber. I am not a moderator, but Katlyn and I are Goodreads friends, and she noticed I love YA, so I got added!! Yay!

My favourite book series of all time is not YA :( It is the Thursday Next books by Jasper Fforde. However, my favourite YA series is a toss-up between Bad Girls Don't Die and Pretty Little Liars. I tend to just read individual books - series suck me in and I get way too obsessive for my own good! As a kid, I loved Harry Potter and A Series of Unfortunate Events so they will always have a place in my heart.

I don't know my Harry Potter house!! I think it's Gryffindor or Slytherin. I'll check when I get sorted by Pottermore and let you know.

I am also Canadian, Torontonian to be exact. I spend a lot of time on my Blackberry. I am currently working at a bank, but it's not my thing - I'm just a lowly entry level staff member doing data entry. It's my dream to become a librarian so I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's in English, after which I plan to attend one of the prestigious universities in Canada (U of T or McGill) for a Master's in Information Studies.

Wow I wrote a lot. I really love books. I could read fluently by the time I was three and spent most of my childhood reading - in classrooms, in schoolyards, in cars, in restaurants, in church. I'd read anything you gave me - even sneak religious textbooks out and read those. I have a bit of a problem now being a book hoarder :P

Hello I'm Selena and I'm a moderator as well. Katlyn and I both made this club together. I love Harry Potter and I also got sorted into Ravenclaw. I just finished the 3rd book in the series Switched #1 Torn #2 and Ascend #3 by Amanda Hocking. I highly recommend reading that series. I am currently reading Abandon by Meg Cabot. I'm from Canada.

Hello Amber, Selena and Katlyn. My name is Linh and I'm from Vietnam. I'm still a student. I've just found out your club and I would love to join.
My favorite series ( which I'm currently reading) is Harry Potter. I have read the series all over again but with the other language every time. I'm a Gryffindor. I also love Twilight, and Pretty Little Liars.
One of my hobbies is reading books. I spent most of the time this summer to do this. My dear friends ( and also my parents) sometimes have to call me a bookworm with a hope that will keep me spend less time in reading. But I guess they're wrong, I love this nick name and I can't stop reading until the new school year begins.
Anyway, it's great to get along with people who share our interests. Nice to meet all of you !!!

I think everyone on here has been called a bookworm at some point. You should suggest a book for September! Not everyone has introduced themselves yet, don't be shy. We'd love to meet you!

Hello, My names Madi :) All of my friends call me McGuck though, so feel free! What to say about myself? Well because everyone else has mentioned it, I am a Hufflepuff on pottermore... what the hell's a hufflepuff? haha, just kidding; very potter musical referance. I am a huge theater geek, I love to sing, read, and blog in my free time... thats pretty much all I do. My favorite books are The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, and The Fault in Our Stars... and like many many more haha. I also have an attactment to Peter Pan... so anything that has to do with that subject im obsessed and in love with. I guess thats all I will say, haha, but Im really excited to interact with the group and read and all that stuff with everyone! :)

Hey Guys, we're up to 11 members now! It's nice to meet you Madi! I'm a AVPM fan too. You guys should suggest a book for September in the September 2012 thread. Mylinh, we should probably read the first book in a series before the last one, so maybe start by suggesting Twilight. Do you want me to add Twilight and the first Secret Circle book to the September suggestions?

So, the first two book of the Secret Circle series are being published in the same copy The Secret Circle: The Initiation and The Captive Part I. Should I add just The Initiation or the Initiation and The Captive? Like so if it won, we would read the first two because they are in one copy, or just the first one and we could nominate the second one later. Sorry if I'm not being clear enough.

Maybe we could decide this if it wins?

Hi my name is Olivia as alot of you have also mentioned I am Canadian. I love to read as I guess we all do. I really enjoy urban fantasy and dystopian books. I have read both the Harry Potter and Twilight series and seem out number by being someone who is not a fan of Harry Potter. Sorry.

Hello everybody!! I'm Anna and I was so glad to be added to this group, I love reading books, and if I find a book or a series that really gets me I can go on reading forever:) I'm Italian but I've been reading only in English for almost 4years now..ever since I spent a year studying in Texas.
My favorite books are especially series: twilight, shadow falls, the mortal instruments, fallen and starcrossed :)
I study languages to become a translator/interpreter and I've been a swimmer ever since I was 3years old...so..this is basically what I do besides reading!

-The Mortal Instrument series
-The Galagher Girls series (it left me stuck in spy-world.)
-The Matched series
They are such great books, are they not? I hope you accept me into this group!
