I just finished the 6 book series The Riyria Revelations by Michael J. Sullivan a fun, light epic fantasy and just what I need for this stressful summer.
And, I started last night Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. I only read about 20 pages last nite. This is going to be more than just fun! I loved the part where Alan Turing suggesting doing some penis thing with the protag ;-)

"How are you enjoying this, Sandi? I read a couple of her free stories and really enjoyed them.
I'm reading Before Leonora Wakes and just picked up Portrait of an Addict as a Young Man: A Memoir from the library.

If you like a tight, deftly plotted gay mystery set in New Orleans, author Greg Herren's Murder In The Garden District fits the bill. I just finished this novel yesterday.

I just finished Cryptonomicon (wow!) and started Daemon another CyberFi I am really enjoying. It's hard SF about the net and doesn't patronize the reader, but assumes one know how networking protocols work. I love it!
I'm currently reading the third book in the former New Orleans homicide cop, turned private eye - Michel Doucette; Second Chance series.
- is so far, as good as the first two,

If you love a New Orleans setting with gay-themed murder-mysteries, this series is great!

I absolutely loved it. I see where some people want to stay away from the taboo student/teacher relationship. But as for the writing, in my opinion, there were minimal complaints. It's alternating perspective, for one, but I thought it gelled well. It does skip forward at odd increments (a day later, a month later, etc.) but it didn't bother me. I saw a few complaints about vocabulary, but I was so focused on the story that I didn't even notice.
Finished reading Murder Came Second yesterday. it was okay.Just picked up Doctor Who: The Art of Destruction
Today I just finished reading "Afterwards" by Rosamund Lupton and I give it 5 stars, and I started "The Boy in the Suit Case" and the first few pages are not bad
I'm reading 'The Book Thief' - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/19...Beautifully written but it doesn't grab me as much as it has others who've read it.
I'm currently reading The Prince and the Program on an iPad and only the 2nd eBook I've read. It's a Cyberfi with m/m characters, though I have not gotten to that part yet. It's much better than I expected.
I am reading: The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal FreedomIt's not gay, but it IS eye opening.
So far, so good.
