I will accept your virtual hug. I don't much like hugs in real life (I'm ALL ABOUT personal space), but a virtual one sounds lovely.

I'm glad you like the challenge! It's the first one I've written myself. :)

message 48: by Katee (last edited Sep 01, 2012 07:30PM) (new)

Katee | 68 comments Hello again,
Here's my booklist for this challenge. I posted earlier that I wanted to read 7 books for this challenge. FYI, I live in Japan, so I'm a day ahead of everyone in the states.

1. Agriculture: Bones of Faerie

2. Automotive: The Red Wolf Conspiracy

3. Banking / Lending: The Dust of 100 Dogs - ★★ - Sept. 2

4. Education: Tide, Feather, Snow: A Life in Alaska

5. Entertainment & Leisure: The Knife of Never Letting Go - ★★★★★ - ( Finished Sept. 1! )
This was an excellent read. I couldn't put it down. The style of writing was a little disconcerting at first, but after a while it just fit perfectly. I can't wait to read the sequel.

6. Computer / Software / Electronics: Sea of Ghosts

7. News: The Book Thief

TOTAL: 2/7

The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness The Dust of 100 Dogs by A.S. King

Melanie (melaniebopp) I'm back! Well, kinda.

I still don't have power at home, so no internet, but a friend is letting me stay with her for a day or two, so I have a little bit of internet time! Finally!

Thanks for everyone's well wishes - I really appreciate it. And overall, the damage wasn't too bad where I was. It's mainly just the lack of electricity, and no air conditioning!
