I'm glad you like the challenge! It's the first one I've written myself. :)

I think I'll only aim for three. I want to do more but I'll have school again and this is the year the work starts getting really heavy :( Hopefully I'll be able to change my goal but it's best to aim low just in case.
I'll be trying for Intern because school starts in a few days and I won't have much time to read...4. Banking/Lending: Read a book that you borrowed from a friend or the library

Welcome to the challenge, all! Melanie's out of pocket right now (due to Hurricane Isaac), but she will be updating the participant list when she's back.
Hello again,Here's my booklist for this challenge. I posted earlier that I wanted to read 7 books for this challenge. FYI, I live in Japan, so I'm a day ahead of everyone in the states.
1. Agriculture: Bones of Faerie
2. Automotive: The Red Wolf Conspiracy
3. Banking / Lending: The Dust of 100 Dogs - ★★ - Sept. 2
4. Education: Tide, Feather, Snow: A Life in Alaska
5. Entertainment & Leisure: The Knife of Never Letting Go - ★★★★★ - ( Finished Sept. 1! )
This was an excellent read. I couldn't put it down. The style of writing was a little disconcerting at first, but after a while it just fit perfectly. I can't wait to read the sequel.
6. Computer / Software / Electronics: Sea of Ghosts
7. News: The Book Thief
TOTAL: 2/7
I'm back! Well, kinda.I still don't have power at home, so no internet, but a friend is letting me stay with her for a day or two, so I have a little bit of internet time! Finally!
Thanks for everyone's well wishes - I really appreciate it. And overall, the damage wasn't too bad where I was. It's mainly just the lack of electricity, and no air conditioning!
