2012 August - What are you reading?
I'm still reading
that I started 3 days ago. It's going really good but I can't find stretches of good reading time :( :(
I'm listening to Silver Master - it's a reread, but I'm really enjoying it. It's been a while since I read this and I'd forgotten most of it :)

I decided to work my way through Maya Banks KGI series this month. I've read the first two and am liking (I totally just wrote licking and had to go back and correct it. Is there a such thing as a Freudian slip in typing?) the hunky men and their intense love stories. Can't wait to read the rest. Here's what I've got left. (Just cause I want to share pretty, yummy covers with you all!)
Looks like there is going to be an in between short story sometime before the end of the year
But the next one doesn't come out until 2013. (I hate waiting...)
Ha ha! Look at the name! LOL. Can't wait for that one to come out.
Has anyone else read this series?

I'm slowly making my way through these books in audio :) I've read all of them, but it was a couple of years ago - I'm really enjoying my visit back to Harmony. It's definitely my favourite series by Krentz.
I just finished Gunmetal Magic and am now starting The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires. What I'll read after that--no idea. It will depend on what is coming out, what snags my attention at any given moment and if my books I requested for a reading challenge for LAST month EVER come in from the Library.
I've finished reading The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper yesterday. Now I'm reading Visions of Sugar Plums by Janet Evanovich.
I am reading The Rogue Pirate's Bride by Shana Galen. Great book. Hope to finish it before I go back to school.
I've already finished Visions of Sugar Plums by Janet Evanovich, which was a short but hilarious novel, an now I'm about to start reading The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen.
The last books that i read were :
, i liked this one so much, that i read it in less than a day. Although normally i'm not a big fan of fairies stories, this one completely surprised me by its writing and characters:) and today i have finished
. This one took me awhile to finish it, because i didn't like it all that much. And now i'm reading
.
I finished
during the weekend. Ilona Andrews just rocked with her witty writing. I love it.Started

I've finished reading The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen this morning and now I'm about to start I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith.

For some reason I've been hit with an urge to re-read the Broken Heart, Oklahoma vampire series. A LOT of humour in this series, as well as some very strange vamp powers. But I enjoy the series and, well it had been a while since I read it, so I thought "why not re-read it" so I am. :o)PS This was inspired by this month's Challenge to read a book either set in OK or written by someone from there. And, guess what--these fit BOTH suggestions, since the author also live in OK.
I saw an interesting book in our local library by an author that I like, Mary Balogh, and was going to take it out when I realized it was part of a series, so naturally I put it back and searched for the first book in the series. Now I am reading "First Comes Marriage" in the Huxtable Quartet.
This is Vanessa's story. I am enjoying it immensely.
I caved and am reading
to see what the hype is about. Thankfully I'll be done with it tonight so I can move on to bigger and better things. Debating between
or
when I'm done.
Lately i have been reading some great stories, like:
and
, this one was amazing :) i loved reading Dali's story, a vegetarian, pratically blind, magical white tiger, who likes to enter car races...Really!And now since i want to read Cassandra Clare "city of Fallen angels", i'm re-reading the first three books in the series. I'm currently on
.
I really loved ANNA GAVALDA'S ensemble c'est tout ... and GUILLAUME MUSSO'S l'appel de l'ange (both available in English) Now starting BELLE DU SEIGNEUR - COHEN
Am about to start
and hope to finish it soon so I can start reading part 3 and 4. I decided to finally read this freakin' series:)
