I love mysteries and thrillers! Thanks for the invite to join the group! The only one out of the group that I am familiar with is CREEP, which has been on my Wishlist for a long time! I am definitely going to read more about the other titles and likely add them to my Wishlist, LOL!
Welcome Darlene! Glad we can introduce you to new titles. Hopefully you'll finally get around to reading Creep!
Thanks for the invite as well! Mysteries, thrillers and suspense are my face type of books. I highly recommend Red Means Run and I have confined spaces on my tbr pile.
Thank you very much for the invite. Thrillers and Suspense are my favorites as well. I read them and write them. Book I have out now are: The Wisdom of Evil, a psychological thriller with a supernatural twist. Salem Moon and The Fallen and the Pure are award winning books: Time-travel, suspense, paranormals!Best regards!
I *love* mysteries and thrillers! Thank you for creating a space for thriller fans such as myself!Of the books in this group's shelf, I've read and enjoyed Deryn Collier's CONFINED SPACE. I've heard RED MEANS RUN is really good, and so have been looking forward to checking it out. Thanks for the heads up on the other titles! Am always looking for exciting thrillers to read!
Hi everyone! I love a good thriller and am a huge fan of mystery as well. My tastes run the gamut from Agatha Christie to classic Stephen King and up to my current read of Simon Toyne. Any book that gets you looking over your shoulder and wondering if that conspiracy just might be possible makes me excited to read on! Going to add these books to my TBR list. It seems to get longer each day! So many great books! Thank you for creating this group and for the recommendations. I look forward to reading them. Cheers!
I like John Grisham and Stephen King for authors. I also like a book by an author named Deberah Harkness.(excuse the spelling of her first name) I forget the name of the book. She also has a new one that came out last month.
Hi All Rick here- love a good fright from a book!! Love the classic ghost stories of EF Benson, MR James and Wilkie Collins' gothic novel THE WOMAN IN WHITE
Hi Everyone ! I'm Marci :)I've only read a few on the list of 'chilling thrillers', but I am an absolute fan of anything thrilling, creepy or crawling all over someone else (not me!)
Creep by Jennifer Hillier looks seriously intriguing - gotta go find myself that one for sure. Very interesting to watch the videos for both that one as well as Red Means Run by Brad Smith, and to note that both were inspired by a piece of music - art inspiring more art!
Rick wrote: "Hi All Rick here- love a good fright from a book!! Love the classic ghost stories of EF Benson, MR James and Wilkie Collins' gothic novel THE WOMAN IN WHITE"Hi Rick - I agree, the Woman in White is the original standard of the genre, by which all else must measure up!
I am so excited to find this group! I recently heard about the "the Dark Side" tour & discovered a couple of new authors I'm really excited read. I'm a very proud Canadian wife & mother & have only just recently begun searching for new authors, Canadian & otherwise. Surprisingly, next few books on my wishlist are Canadian authors.I'm only in one other group so far but I'm really enjoying my time on Goodreads even more than Facebook! I'm having fun discussing books & authors w/ ppl who share my enthusiasm & I'm looking forward to especially finding new & exciting Canadian authors.
Hi! I'm Terri & excited to be new to this group! I have always LOVED the Mystery/Thriller genre w/ my fave type of thriller is the Medical Thriller. I'm also VERY PROUD to be CANADIAN & thru my short time on Goodreads, I've found a number of Canadian authors I had never heard of before! The neat thing about Goodreads is that I've met & chatted w/ 3 new authors who write in the Medical Thriller arena. I've been getting stuck in the rut of my same old same authors & characters, I'm currently reading "Dust" by Patricia Cornwell & I'm really enjoying it but when I'm finished I'm going to either start one of my "Cdn" books, one of my 3 new books or a get a jump on my April BOTM books from my 3 groups. For what it's worth; I think I'm only going to join 5grps. I like to be involved in something I'm part of & I don't have the metal ability OR the memory to be involved in more than 5! I have a friend from another group that is in 53grps & she has friends in all of them! She's amazing ;p... Anyway, I guess that's it. I'm a 45yr old mother of 4 & wife of 1 & I love being part of goodreads. Everyday, I meet someone new, get into a debate over books, ereader choice or anything else that sparks entertaining & good natured debate. I look forward to meeting you all!
