Gate Gypsy wrote: I was just thinking of something: perhaps for those of us who are having difficulty locating books by/about particular provinces might band together. If someone happens to have access to a non-library copy of something that others are interested in reading, maybe we could arrange a bookring situation, where we each read the book and mail it on to another participant when we finish?

This was occurring to me with particular regard to New Brunswick ;-)

I like Gate Gypsy's idea. Unless someone has a better way to do this, I think the best way might be to create a book sharing folder, and people can ask for specific books, books set in a particular province, or post a book they have and are willing to share with other members. People who would like to respond can comment in the thread, and then private message each other with their addresses and work out all the details.
What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Autumn I'm in. I have a feeling Gate Gypsy might have access to some Northern literature that the rest of us have difficulty finding. Meanwhile, I will keep my eye on NB literature :)

The Book sharing folder is all set up. If anyone would like to use it to post a book you're willing to share or if you're having a hard time getting ahold of a book, all you have to do is go to the top of the discussion under the challenge, click New, choose book sharing in the folder option, and then post the pertinent details.

GateGypsy | 126 comments Hooray! Yes, I probably can find a bunch of northern literature. I'll keep an eye open for stuff :-)
