Holly I absolutely loved this book. The twists at the end were really good. I couldn't put this book down. I was constantly wanting to find out what was going to happen next. As soon as I finished it, I put in a request at the library for the next one. Can't wait to start it.

message 7: by Sabrina (new)

Sabrina | 61 comments Yes it was. I really liked the main character, which doesn't really happen for me a lot. Also, Jenna's character was pretty cool.

Kdbrand This book is one of my guilty pleasure reads of the summer. It is so fun!

Becca (beccatheawesomeone) | 146 comments I think I thought aboout it way too much. Maybe if I reread, I will enjoy it more..

Jenelle Got it out of the library, planning on reading it as soon as I finish "The Game" by Diana Wynn Jones.

Jenelle Finished the book... it definitely wasn't what I was expecting. I really wanted to like it, but I just couldn't get into it. I felt like the characters were kind of one-dimensional and flat, and there wasn't a lot of development of most of the characters so when they did something that seemed out-of-character it wasn't believable. I think that's the limitation of first-person writing, and why it can be very difficult to write well in first-person.

Sabrina | 61 comments That makes sense. I think I know what you are talking about now that I think about it.

message 13: by Geraldine (new)

Geraldine | 3 comments I really really loved the first book but some of the plot for the next two books really got on my nerves, especially the last book. But I won't say any more because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. :]
