Just a random thought I felt like sharing
The titles used to reflect the book. In the 'Marked' Zoey was marked as a vampyre. In 'Betrayed' Neferet betrayed Zoey. Zoey was 'chosen' by Nyx. but as the series went on the titles started to seem random. Why do you think the other books were called what they were called?

i thought exactly the same but for destined,i thought it could be just that she's 'Destined' to save the world cause she has been chosen by Nyx, it could be any reason really though.

UNTAMED- things were untamed at the school with Neferet runing wild and trying to disrow everything.
Hunted- Kalona and the Raven Mockers were hunting ppl at the school and such.
Temped- she was temped to do things she shouldnt do or want.
Burned- SR got burned from the sun, and almost died beacuse of it. but didnt. and in a way if you really think about it, Zoeys soile got burned when she....did whatever it did when she sent sprit out to try to stop Kalona from killing Heath but couldnt do it in time.
Awakened- zoey finally woke up, after she'd been out for like almost 4 weeks or whatever. and everyone thought she was going to die. (kinda like Sleeping Beaty in a way. but not quite)
Destaned- maybe it was Deasted that Heath got reincaredated or somthing like that. idk for that one.
