Naturally, Ian is fired upon by cannon from a privateer ship. Fortunately, cannon are not meant to hit small things like people, and most of them were ten feet off. One of them actually made it to a meter.
The flagship landed, and the captain of the large fleet of pirates slowly made his way onto land, instructing his men to stop wasting their fire. Then he aimed a pistol at Ian. "What be your business here?"
"We are blockading all of the trade routes of the kingdon to the sea, cutting them off from suplies so that the Sorceror can easily destroy you and your way of living. The Barbarians to the South are approaching with an army... from the south, we are blockading you from the east and west seas, and the Sorceror's armies of dragons are laying siege to most of the defense castles to the north, cutting it off from the palace. We are unstoppable together."
"Even if the Sorceror did not hold magic, he is the best rallying point for all of the enemies of the Kingdom in... ever. And he'll be even stronger as a martyr, so don't be getting any sneaky ideas about going off to assassinate him."This was untrue, of course, because while the wrath of the barbarians would be great, the pirates would simply keep up the blockade and the dragons would immediately disband and go back to being a nomadic, msotly peaceful species that would hop from isle to isle searching for large herds of prey, rather than a lethal and brainwashed army. But Ian didn't need to know that.
He nodded. "So what now?" He asked. "Would you fight me?" He was a prince. No need to say that allowed.
"I wouldn't bother fighting you- always the chance I might lose."While the Captain had been talking, five other pirates had come ashore and had surrounded him several feet out of range of any sword and aimed pistols at him. "So instead I'll have you shot." The pirates all adjusted their aim. If he dodged one shot, he would ram his head into another, no matter which direction he moved in or how low he ducked.
Captain Ulcer aimed his pistol at the last place Ian could have avoided the shots and grinned, his many missing teeth making his already eerie expression downright disturbing.
Little did they knew he has powers none of them have ever encountered or maybe they did but it didn't let them know. He can teleport in a flash. Past of his heritage as a prince. He smirked at them at the poited guns knowing it will never hit him.
And then they shot before he expected it and he didn't have time to teleport. He was wounded and stunned into unconsciousness, but they wouldn't kill him... why bother, when one of them identified him as the prince?"And while you're waking up, your highneyness," a pirate said rudely as he woke to find himself tied to a mast, "the chains around your ankles and wrists are from the Sorceror's own treasury. No magic can be used by anyone when they have those on."
((I would've let him survive and even be free; but I really hate those overconfident characters, and most of the people who make them. It's no fun to rp with them, and there is no story or struggle when they can just wave their hand and be invincible. That's stupid, that's unoriginal, and I'm tired of having to compensate for other people's blundering attempts to understand magic when none of them have ever looked into how it works. So you shut up about your superpowers, you're way out of your league when you're going up against me when it comes to making powerhouses.))
Nicolas road his horse along the sand, shooting arrows at his targets, getting his practise in early. He loved the smell of the sea in the morning. He made his horse go faster and hit every target. He came to a stop to rest and drink. He gave his horse some water and laid down on the sand, relaxing.
Sky walked along the sea, looking for the colored glass that layed in the sand. She always loved the bright colors that brightened the blue ocean even more, but that was probrably not even possible. She bent down as she came upon a bright green piece, turning it over in her hands as she began to walk once more.
Nicolas stretched out and closed his eyes, getting into the habit of thinking about things out here. He yawned softly, knowing someone would come looking for him soon, yet he was desperate to get as much free time as possible.
Sky hummed to herself softly, her skirts hitched up so it would be easier for to walk in the wet sand. Besides, no one came here that often. No one would see her like that, with her skirts up to her knees and her sleeves rolled up and glass in her apron. She crouched down on her knees, looking at another peice of glass. Oh Hunter. Where are you when I need entertainment? she wondered as she stood.
Nicolas's horse started to act up and Nicolas got up to calm it down. It whinnied and bucked and started to back away. He knew something was wrong he just didn't know what. He tried getting it to calm down and just managed too but it was still skittish.
Sky started to walk again, but stopped again, feeling like something was wrong. It must've just been her, because she knew nothing was wrong with her. She walked past a man with a horse, keeping her head down and walking quickly as she was told. "Excuse me," she said softly, hurrying past him.
Nicole wrote: "Little did they knew he has powers none of them have ever encountered or maybe they did but it didn't let them know. He can teleport in a flash. Past of his heritage as a prince. He smirked at them..."((Because you've taken so long))
The captain carefully aimed his pistol and shot Ian in the skull, busting his brain and killing him almost instantly.
Nicolas managed to get it to stand still when he saw a girl practically run away from him. "Hey wait!" He called. "Are you in need of a ride back?" He asked as he pet his horse. He had to admit she was quite lovely.
Sky stopped, shook her head as she turned around, walking what seemed as sideways. "N-No, I'm fine!" she called to her, having to speak up due to her extraordanairily quiet voice. Picking up a peice of her colored glass, she kept walking, slower though this time as to signal she wasn't trying to run away from him like he was Death himself.
