Personality: Noras kind of an outsider. No one really understands her and most of the time, she doesn't want them to. Shes the kid that always sits alone and often goes to the boat dock to be alone and think. Also loves drawing and photography.

Appearance: Longish brown hair, deep blue eyes and a thin but muscular frame, tan with a silver tail (when in the water)
personality: moody and quiet, alone a lot. doesn't really like loud people or noises, loves poetry and painting.

Mikael stood on the shore, his hands in the pockets of his hoodie and the hood up, his feet bare beneath freyed blue jeans. He looked out at the water and wondered how long he would be able to stay here without being noticed. The sky was stormy and grey, and he could smell the rain coming but he wasn't ready to leave. Glancing around he saw his only companion on the sand, it was a girl. ((Nora))

Nora had her beat up converse next her while her feet hung in the water off the boat dock. This was the only peaceful place she knew of. The waves hit the side of the boats, causing them to rock. She had her head low, sketching the landscape contently

Mikael approached slowly, "Hey." he said softly, "Can I, umm, sit?"

Nora looked up, suprised at the unexpected voice. "Uh I guess."

Mikael sat with his legs crossed so his feet wouldn't touch the water and pulled down his hood to reveal a strikingly handsome face.

Nora looked up, wondering who this stranger was. He was attractive and found herself staring. Her head shot back to the paper, hoping he didn't catch that. Nora began sketching as tje waves rocked the dock slowly

Mikael studied her face carefully, and then stood, picking up a piece of charcoal. He bagan to draw a picture of her on the dock.

Nora picked up eyes up and then put them back to her page immediately, gluing them to the page. She moved the pencil steadily and calmly, focusing on the waves of the water

Mikael continued to draw, and soon finished a charcoal picture of her... with a mermaid tail. He smiled to himself and then sat back down beside her, not saying a word.

Nora finished her drawing and started to put her art tools away. She looked over at the guy curious.

Mikael smiled slightly at her, it wasn't an expression he was used to. "I'm Mikael."

Nora stared at him for a long moment. "Nora," she said plainly, standing up and throwing her backpack over her shoulder

Mikael stood as well, standing and glancing from his drawing then back to her.

Nora picked her shoes up and took one final glance at the guy before she started to walk down the dock. She felt like she'd seen him before.

Mikael jogged after her, "Wait!"

Nora looked over her shoulder but kept walking. "Yes?" She asked

"Umm... do you come here a lot?" he asked, running his fingers through his hair and looking at her questioningly

"Yeah, I do." Nora looked at him up and down. "Do you?"

Mikael shrugged, his hands in his pockets, and grinned. "I might start coming now though..." he eyed her carefully, "If you wouldn't mind come company."

Nora blushed softly and looked at the ground. "Well maybe ill see you around, here." she added.

Mikael nodded, "Maybe." he agreed, smiling to himself.

Nora smiled slightly before walking off the dock and onto the sand, headed home

Mikael sat back down on the dock as the sun began to set. When it was dark he slipped down into the water and swam away.

Nora went to sleep that night thinking of the boy. He seemed different. She fell asleep thinking of him

Nora woke up early and threw a sweatshirt and jeans on, running out of the door and to the beach

Mikael sat on the dock, looking out at the water. He heard footsteps and turned to see the girl from the day before. He smiled and raised a hand in greeting.

Nora slowed down when she saw him. Half of her was excited he would be there and the other half disapointed he was there. She did a small hand gesture for a wave and slowly walked towards him, trying not to seem eager

Mikael stood up on the dock, his hood was up and his hands were in his pockets. He smiled at her, "Nora, right?" he asked quietly.

"Uh yeah. Mikael?" She questioned him, looking over at him through the corner of her eye
