Divergent discussion

The Erudite faction is the 3rd you learn about, but not as much as Abnegation and Dauntless. You learn more about Erudite in Insurgent. What were your impressions of Erudite? What did you think of the rules, clothing, and ways of life throughout the first book? Does it remind you of something in real life?

Do not agree with their mind control thing, but I could totally fit in there... hair pinned out of my face, research and studying....my kind of place!

Yeah I am one to buckle down and study, but I like to adventure out so I can't say I would be completely able to say that this would be my matched faction

That's kind of me, but I can't pin back my hair (pixies are too short for that, usually) and I wouldn't like to do that all the time.

This is my faction. I like things be controlled by intelligent people who won't make me fustrated.

Well, intelligent evil people...

I really think that I'd enjoy being in this faction. I don't fit in Candor, or Abnegation by far, and I doubt I'd be cut out for dauntless. And well, I considered dauntless, so I really don't fit Amity. So, Erudite it is.

I don't like this faction at all. They just want power more power and even more power. I belong in Dauntless or at least thats what I tell myslef.

well, I think other than some of the power crazy leaders, its a good faction. The search for knowledge is a noble goal.

I took a quiz to see what faction I am...guess who's Erudite? And I took another quiz to see which character I was in the series. I was almost Tris, but ended up Being Will (which doesn't bug me, but one point turned me Erudite, which sort of does). I love me my books, but I could never be a teacher or a scientist.

I think Caleb is just a "double agent" and is actually on good side.

He'd be a triple agent, actually. But he was (view spoiler)[ going to let Tris die in Insurgetn! (hide spoiler)] A triple agent would have tried to save her!

But what if Caleb was behind switching the serums, but made Peter do it anyway so it would keep his cover, and it would seem like Peter was returning the favor from Tris saving his life earlier in Insurgent

STOP WITH THE SUSPENSE already I'm so close to going to Roth's house and forcing her to finish the book for me so I can read it already. I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed this book soooooooooooo bad. I have nightmares that I'll never get this book, but everyone else does it's so frieghtning (I don't think I spelt that write).

Ummmmmmm how the only reason he got that video from the end of the movie was becuase Tobias(Four) made him. He ratted out Tris's, his sister, about her aptitude test results to Jeanine who's out to get Divergent people. So yeah he's definently not on the dark side (sarcasm)

I'm telling you he isn't evil. He's just keeping his cover, but deep down he is doing it to get info and help his sister and boyfriend

Which one? You can just type in Divergent faction quiz in your google or yahoo or whatever browser, and a million different ones 'll pop up, and the character one I found on quizfarm.com by typing divergent character quiz.

I think that erudite is a good faction, the only thing is that they use they're knowledge for the wrong purposes. The erudites such as *spoiler* cara and the other erudite so called traitors use they're knowlege right. *end of spoiler* I like erudite. (probably just because I took the quiz, and that was my faction :) )

They are a good faction but they had a controlling leader who thought she was helping people by killing the divergent so they wouldn't have to go outside the fence. And Caleb is still evil I mean if he was a double or triple agent why wouldn't he lie about some of the things if he was why wouldn't Tris know Uriah knew that his brother (Zeke) was one why wouldn't Tris know her brothers. Also he was way to calm at some parts like he knew something was going to happen. He lied way to much about some things, he played the big brother act sometimes. I'm getting off topic. The faction isn't bad just it's leaders. And the next book will be interesting I think most people are going to go against the faction less and it will be a very big war. I actually think they will all come together and go against the faction less. Even though they got all their weapons doesn't mean they won't have more. I mean come on this is Dauntless they'll have tons of more weapons at their headquarters that are hidden and Erudite can make something out of anything (if they do form an alliance which I think could be quite possible) at the end of the book everyone already started shouting so it'll be interesting

I thought they were a bit stuck up but i admire them for only their knowledge
