Divergent discussion

Amity is the 4th faction you learn about, but it's introduced in Insurgent. What were your impressions of Amity? What did you think of the rules, clothing, and ways of life throughout the second book? Do you think they're a little over the top with how they live their lives? Does it remind you of something in real life?

They reminded me of over-zealous hippies (no one take offense). I mean, it sounded kind of fun, but at the same time...I'd probably have gone crazy after a day or so.
Though the part where (view spoiler)[they gave Tris the happiness serum (hide spoiler)] was hilarious, it would also freak me out if they went around giving that to people.
That'd be like everyone around me was high.

I know right. I was like what did they make that stuff out of? lol they gave her an overdose since she's so small too.

But it was funny

I know, that part was so funny! That part was really funny to read, I thought.

I never was much fond of Amity....in fact, I like them the least among all the factions. They seem to be like a bunch of stupid girls who have no purpose in life other than giggling at everything.....

I personally am not a fan of Amity but my family is. My mom read Divergent and was all like "i wanna be Amity!" shes weirder than me sometimes. Im surprised she didnt say this:
