His forgotten past came out when he least expected. Golf shirts and khakis got replaced with camouflage uniforms and a KevlarTM vest and helmet. He assumed Iraq or Afghanistan, but he wound up in Kosovo instead. An infantry man on a peace keeping mission sounded like the most boring thing in the world to him, especially during the war, but he wasn’t ready for what he found over there.
