This was actually the show that started me off in my paranormal craze. I try to catch the reruns whenever they are on T.V. It's so much fun to watch even though I've watched it a hundred times.
yeah me to. tough i haven't seen all the episodes, andi sadly don't own it on DVD, wish i did though. i think they are mostly on around halloween
They used to give them every night on FX around six and seven, but I haven't seen them do that now. I wish they did because now the only time I can see them is when they give it on LOGO or some other channel that most people don't have.
Buffy was like the first vampire show to start the whole vampire thing. Unless I'm mistaken, but I don't remember any other vampire show in the 90's. That one was delicious.
I think you're right, Charleigh, Buffy was the first vampire show in the 90s that started it. I don't remember any other ones during that time. Do you guys like Spike, because I do?
I loved Spike. His banter was priceless. he was funny without even trying. I actually liked him better than Angel because he wasn't afraid to be who he was. I felt like Angel played too much the tortured soul and Spike wasn't like that. And who wouldn't love a guy that went searching for a soul just to win your love. So cute. Sorry for the gush.
Tell me about it Rebekkah. That had to be the best part. I loved everything about him even his bleached hair. It made him who he was and I was so happy when they had made him a regular and turned him good. He was a better champion than Angel was.
I agree, Charleigh. Spike was one of my favorite characters in that show. . . There was this one show (I can't remember the name) where it showed Spike before he had turned into a vampire. It was a cool episode, but then after Spike was done reflecting back on that time, Buffy was so mean to him. You could see the heartbreak in his eyes. That scene hurts my heart because Buffy had feelings for Spike but didn't want to acknowledge them, so she lashed out at him with venomous words to push him away. I felt so bad for Spike because he really loved her and would have done anything for her.
Yeah I think I remember which episode you are talking about. Buffy was never nice to any guys that loved. She was always all about me. My favorite girl was Willow because she was so badass. Better than Buffy any day.
Yup. I loved Willow too. I was so mad though, when they killed Tara off. I mean, what was the purpose in that? I'm still mad about it.
Me too. They were so great together, but they needed a way to turn Willow evil I guess. They still didn't need to go that far she was already off her rocker when Tara ended things with her. But then they brought Kennedy in. She wasn't as good a Tara though.
I know what you mean Jeremy. That show was such a big part of my life growing up. And what was funny was that most people my age back then weren't watching that show. They were watching cartoons and stuff like that, but I was stuck on Buffy the Vampire Slayer so I never had anyone to talk to about it but my sisters because they were watching it too.
Me too. She had put so much effort in helping Buffy and it cost her mostly everything she loved. I mean what would have happened with Tara if she and Buffy never met. But then again if Buffy and Willow never met they wouldn't have had such a good show. I hear they are going to do that sort of thing with Bonnie from the Vampire Diaries. It's just talk though.
I thought they were adorable. Especially because she didn't know how to talk like a human so it was so funny when he tried to get her used to it. I still didn't like that he listened to that Demon and left her at the altar. She had become good and didn't deserve that.
I had picked up one of the books one time but it was from the library amd I didn't have a card then.
That's a thought, Jeremy. I never even considered reading those books, and I wonder if they would be good. I might have to check them out. Wouldn't that be cool if they brought the show back? I think they could totally do it, and maybe figure out a way to bring Tara back. I don't know how, but I'd love to see her and Willow together again.
Yeah, I will, Jeremy. And I feel the same way as you about Joss Weadon. I mean, why bother if he's not going to be involved, right? Just like the TV show, Supernatural, the guy who created it (I can't remember his name) stopped getting involved and the show is not as good now. I love that show, but I'm not as anxious to watch it as I used to be. In fact, I'm a season behind in it.

Here is a link to a site where you can watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer. All seven seasons as far as I can tell.

I agree. Spike is one of my favorite characters too. I wish him and Buffy would have stayed together. He really loved her.
