hey! is this book any good? loving zombies right now and looking for some more=) read forest of hands and teeth stuff like that sooooooooo tell me your thaughts on this book plz!

I audioread this book & it was very good. In fact it's a pretty good trilogy. I guess that's saying a lot since I'm not really a Zombie fan.

I love it, but it's nothing like Forest of Hands and Teeth. More political intrigue and mystery, less romance.

I have read forest of hands and teeth - it's equal quality but a slightly different story.
Both are dealing with life continuing after the zombie apocalypse, rather than the actual event itself though, and I think that you'll probably like it - what was it you enjoyed about forest of hands and teeth?
I think you'd probably enjoy the "As the World Dies" series by Rhiannon Frater as well, possibly the "Married with Zombies" series by Jesse Petersen as well :)
There's a lot of zombie novels out there now, but these four series are definitely my favourites ^^

I got to 90% through before I realised it was a chore and I was getting very little pleasure from the quality of writing. There are better zombie novels to use your time on.

Loved this book.the beginning can be a bit slow but it definitely picks up. I read it in 2 days and have read the sequels as well.

It is a an excellent read and once you read it you will want to read the whole series. More science and politics and drama and less actual zombie action than some books but the action is good the science is very believable.

I'm one of those who didn't like it. I know there's a lot of people here that like it, but for one, I didn't fancy the dialogue, and secondly, like every other 1-2 star comment, I didn't like the repetitiveness of blood tests and inconsistencies of the main Newsie blogging only with her opinions.

Upside is that Grant has a good voice, and it's a good light read, just that it becomes a drag when you get through the parts I mentioned above.

OH YES! I loved it but remember it is more about after the Zombie outbreak. But super good.

Excellent. She also writes under her real name Seanan McGuire. I haven't read her October Daye Novels yet put plan to.

The best horror novel I've read in nearly 10 years. Don't believe the haters, check it out for yourself. Even knowing spoilers I broke down in tears when the shit went down. The entire Newsflesh trilogy is dynamic.

It's really good and I really loved it because it wasn't just about the actual zombie apocalypse but about life after the zombie apocalypse. It was sort of funny too because there were socially relevant issues (e.g. elections, presidential campaigns) that were combined with the walking dead.

It's so difficult to get the Newsflesh Trilogy here in the Philippines. You have to order it online ugh.

Its not just about zombies its about political espionage, murder, treason, zombies, and so much more. It is the first of 3 books centred around the following of newsies, which are the new media in a new world covered by curfews, and constant blood checks . All3 books are full of clever twists to keep you hooked.

Yes, this book is really good. Just read it. You won't be disappointed.
