The contributors to 'After Zionism' firmly believe that the two state solution is dead, but critics argue that a one state solution is not possible given the hostility of the conflict in the region. One compromise proposed by many of the book's contributors is to use a two state settlement as a temporary stepping stone to a permanent one state solution. Do you think dividing the process in two stages would work? What are your thoughts on the one state vs two state debate?
