Pirl (pirlismyname) I have a habit of collecting riddles. So Every Sunday (Except today, I know today's a Saturday. Forgive me) I will post a riddle. There's no prize in this, but I hope you enjoy solving the riddle. Along with next week's riddle I will post the answer.

Let's start with an easy one, shall we?

What happens when you throw a yellow rock into a purple stream?

message 2: by Sazza (new)

Sazza (haaaa) um...it sinks?

message 3: by Mike (new)

Mike Crystal wrote: "I know, the yellow rock is sulfur and the purple stream is Kool-aid! They all explode!"

Pirl (pirlismyname) Ugh I have so many riddles, I can't wait for Sunday...

message 11: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) OK so until school starts on the 27th I'll be posting on Saturday, because I'm super bored.

message 12: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) Last week's riddle was:
What happens when you throw a yellow rock into a purple stream?
And the answer is... drumroll

It splashes.

Which makes the winner єɱɱą! YAY!

This next riddle is slightly harder, but I test these on my brother, so who knows, he's horrible at riddles:

There was a green house, and in the green house was a white house, and in the white house there was a red house, and in the red house there were a lot of babies.
What is it?

This time I will add a clue:
(view spoiler)

message 13: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) No one tried to solve it! The answer was a watermelon .

This week's riddle is: Say my name and I disappear.

I've always been terrible at riddles but I enjoy them. Anyway, I looked at Cheyenne's answer so I don't think I should participate this week.

message 17: by Pirl (last edited Aug 26, 2012 11:18AM) (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) Oh well.

message 18: by Katie (new)

Katie (katiebakes641) | 75 comments I will definitely guess next week.

message 19: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) Next week the riddle will be posted on Sunday, probably. School starts twelve hours from now, so it'll be a busy week...

message 20: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) The answer was: Silence.

This week's riddle: What is it that after you take away the whole, some still remains?

message 21: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) Lo?

message 22: by Cheyenne, HoH & Proud (new)

No idea. I looked at this several days ago but didn't post because I'm stumped.

message 23: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) A hint?

message 25: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) Very good! Katie's the winner and you can look at her answer if you want to know it. If you wanna solve it on your own... then do. Have fun.

This week's riddle is: At night they come - but not fetched
By day they are lost - but not stolen.

Pirl (pirlismyname) Wow that was fast... LOL
BTW I know my riddles are interesting, but my writing is more, so if you could check these out, that'd be nice of you guys.

message 34: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) Althea, you were correct.

This week's riddle is - and this one's pretty easy:

Pirl (pirlismyname) Althea and Farheen, you are both correct. Even though I did say it's easy.

This one seems incomplete. Are we guessing what the thing described is?

Pirl (pirlismyname) You're correct Cheyenne, but they've all been solved already...
And yes, you're supposed to guess what the thing described is.

Cheyenne | 665 comments Mod
Yeah, I know but I wanted to do them anyways :p

And okay, thanks. I'll ponder this one.

Well, it describes the ones I live with pretty well! Running around like crazy people, always telling people, "No, you're WRONG." Hahaha.

message 47: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) LOL. But it does say "never talking" - it means, like, makes no sound. Sorta.

message 48: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) Cheyenne wins!

This one doesn't really rhyme. 2/3 when it comes to hardness.
I am seen in the sky
I am seen in the water
I am in the rainbow
and in a jay's feather
and lapis lazuli.
