Rukmani Anandani (rukmanianandani) | 4 comments Hi Kevan, I see that you're a writer yourself - shall check out 'Dark Pursuit: The Lost Shinmahs' shortly.

Can you tell me something about the Chennai Book Club and whether they'd be willing to comment on 'The Kural' aspect which is a theme of my Ganapati
Iyer series...? i.e. Does it help, hinder, seem too old-fashioned...etc

Thanks a whole lot, Rukmani

message 14: by Krishna (new)

Krishna Kranthi (krishna_kranthi) Friends and Book lovers, This is Krishna Kranthi, author of the recently published fiction 'MBA is not about Money,Blazer,Arrogance. I am an MBA grad myself and an entrepreneur now and planning my next 2 books.

The book is about the journey of a grad in a B-school trying to realize the true purpose of his MBA. In these modern 'rat race' times where students are pursuing their MBA just to earn more money, crave for higher roles and in effect indulge in unneeded arrogance, I wanted to present a different view point that the value of a MBA degree is not just confined to money, blazer, arrogance but it is much more than that. Overall, the book sends a strong message to the society on the true purpose of education degree and not just a management degree.

We are getting great reviews at http://amzn.com/B00APD8YYQ

The book is available at Homeshop18 in India http://www.homeshop18.com/mba-money-b...

Thanks for giving this opportunity to tell about the book

cheers,
krishna

Davis Ashura (davisashura) Hi,

My pen name is Davis Ashura, which I chose as a bit of a joke after the popularity ofAngels & Demons by Dan Brown. I belong to one of the first, if not the first, large waves of Indian immigrants to the US.
I've loved reading all my life and wanted to be a writer since I was a teenager, but it's only been in the past 5 years, that I've really given it a go. I had to settle down first - become a doctor, have two children, etc. I've written 5 novels (8 depending on how you count them), but it's only been with my latest, A Warrior's Path that I've trusted my words enough to send out the signal.
It's available through
http://www.amazon.com/Warriors-Path-C...
http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/a-war...
and http://store.kobobooks.com/en-US/eboo...
I have no idea if that means its available in India. I'm just learning the American book market, but the book has many themes and elements from India, especially Andhra, but with an American interpretation.
Here's a review from Kirkus: https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-re...

Ajay Yadav | 5 comments "FROM WHERE I SEE"
Hi, I am Dr. Ajay- consultants Anesthetist, Intensivist and pain specialist. I have recently written a novel “FROM WHERE I SEE” in genre of Religion/fiction.
It’s an exploration of intrapersonal, interpersonal, inter-social and inter-religious conflicts and hundreds of pertinent questions like “why in one religion it becomes so easy to get volunteers to blow themselves and others for the sake of religion? Does the religion divides or unites? What precipitates extramarital affairs? Does the immature and wrong interpretation of female emancipation the reason for 13 times rise in divorce rates in last 5 years? The issues are on the backdrop of very interesting murder mystery.
It’s not only a book; it’s the path to revolution, it’s a journey towards utopian world. If you feel that you are open minded, have courage to accept truth and have a desire to change the world then be the part of change.
For more details visit- www.fromwhereisee.com
Book is available at amazon.in and flipkart.com
I would be thankful if you can review it
