*g* Thank you, Syfy! I think you just made my year :D
Some updates - quite a few. Late last year, lots of authors were caught in the aftermath of the Silver Publishing disaster. I was one of the lucky ones, having taken my rights back a few months prior to the final implosion. It taken a bit to get the house back in order, but I'm finally there - everything has a home again and there are new additions to my gay SF family.Rarely Pure and Never Simple (Variant Configurations 1) released at MLR Press last fall - not a re-release, that one was brand new and there have been lovely reviews for it:
Rarely Pure and Never SimpleAlso new from Mischief Corner Books - I was able to write something I dearly love: Science Fiction Humor. The Brimstone novels, about Shax, the Demon Prince of Thieves and his adventures in space, are not to be taken seriously. If you do, I worry about you. There are three of them, available separately and soon as an Omnibus edition as well:
Hell for the Company: Brimstone 1
Fear of Frogs
Shax's WarThe lovely folks at Mischief Corner also released the second edition of Vassily the Beautiful - with a new very SF cover by Freddy MacKay :D
Vassily the BeautifulLast, but certainly not least since this is really my flagship SF novel - Dreamspinner is re-releasing Gravitational Attraction, the original ESTO Universe story, on 7/21/14.

For now, on the SF side, I think that's it. There are a couple of SF humor short stories in the planning stages and the next Variant Configurations book to get back to - onward!
Just picked up Shax's War (love the Brimstone series). I know it's not SF but also desperately waiting for the re-release of Semper Fae.

(Yes, I'm rather fond of my Brimstone boys, too ;) ) We're almost there with Semper Fae - re-release is on Friday, 7/11/14!

It's always wonderful to hear that someone enjoys my scribbling. Just so you know *whispers* I'm working on the 4th Fae book now.
Update #...I think I lost count. The first three Brimstone stories have been gathered up for your convenient consumption into one big bite of Shax:Brimstone: Demon Owned and Operated

Angel Martinez is not my real name. I took a second name to write Gay SF, because I also write mainstream, all ages SF under my real name. Wasn't happy about the possibility of an eight year old picking up one of my erotic works by mistake. Hence, Angel emerged from the primordial soup.
I write SF because I love it and have from an early age. Unlike some romance writers, who write it because they "thought it might be fun" or they "wanted to try it out" SF is my first love. Published in the genre since 2006, I will admit that I've had tons of fun, too. :D
Some of the vital stats? I live in Delaware, always have, though I've traveled all over the world. One hubby of over twenty years, one college age son who still lives with us (his boyfriend still lives with his parents, too, so I don't feel bad.) I've worked at a ridiculous number of jobs, have my degree in English lit and yes, I'm still afraid of the dark.
Angel's SF right now consists of three novels in the ESTO/ Altairian Universe
