Much as I have a huge list of what's wrong with that movie, I couldn't fault the casting...until Uhura.
She does nothing, except get mooned over by the men in the cast and while we are told she is the 'best of the best', she doesn't do anything.
Plus, Nichelle Nicholas is such a babe, anyone else was going to come up short in comparison.
i thought of another character, balok (clint howard). i didn't have too much of a problem with him until he said, "but first, the tranya". he might as well have said, "but first, oogoo!" (if you're familiar with gilbert gottfried, you know what i'm talking about)

I always wondered what happened to him and that Starfleet guy that went with him?
I used to hate him. But I've come to like the adult Wil Wheaton so much that I just can't hate Wesley anymore.
Leslie wrote: "I used to hate him. But I've come to like the adult Wil Wheaton so much that I just can't hate Wesley anymore."I think my problem with Wesley was that the writers never seemed to know what to do with him.
Seems like every Trek series has one character like that.
I've always liked Wesley. Although yeah, they never really knew what to do with him. However, they did give him some good moments.
Lwaxana Troi is unbearable. I still have to skip those episodes.
I just watched Deep Space Nine season One episode 16, "The Forsaken". I beg to differ. I find Lwaxana to be a great character. I don't have a least favourite character. I just support unliked characters in this topic.
I have to agree -- Lwaxana Troi is my LEAST favorite character by a long shot. There were a couple episodes where she wasn't as obnoxious (like the DS9 episode mentioned - "The Forsaken").
Sinda wrote: "Okay, I'm not that far in to Deep Space Nine- I just started season 2. But I HATE Vedek Winn."Yeah, but in her defense, you are supposed to.
I hated Doctor Pulaski. Probably mostly because she was so mean to Data who was probably my favorite TNG character. Pulaski was just a B**CH for, like, no reason!
Side note, Diana Muldaur also played two characters in TOS and after realizing that, I hated them too. That is how much I hated Pulaski. lol

I started off hating her because I really liked Dr. Crusher, but I guess I got used to her because by the end of S2, I didn't mind her anymore.
Deanna Troi annoys me, mainly because she's always "I feel something but I can't put my finger on it" and sure, sometimes it's useful, but I just find her rather obnoxious and blah.
Also Q. Currently doing a rewatch of TNG and am so tempted to skip his episodes because he's just pointless in my opinion!
Kes and Pulaski, definitely. And now thanks to the Titan books, Riker is becoming that way. He was never my favorite on TNG, but I tolerated him must of the times and enjoyed him a few others. But with the Titan books I found myself wanting him to become a redshirt on an away mission and have Comm. Vale take over.
a punch in the face...thats a lot of hate haha. i took a little pleasure when kai winn got killed off in the end. i was like, its about damn time!
I just saw Dr. Pulaski in an old 'Murder She Wrote' episode. I say 'Dr. Pulaski' rather than Diana Muldaur because it was Dr. Pulaski, just not in a Starfleet uniform. UGH.
Well, I just saw Deep Space Nine season 3 episode 13, Life Support, and I have celebrated because Bareil is no more.
You last to people are wrong! In my eyes.Have you noticed that the not-main-character Vulcans are annoying?
Mud is a great one to hate. I didn’t like Q in TNG but he grew on me in Voyager. I absolutely dislike Kes. Her low voice, her useless input. Hi y’all! I’m new here! I’m gonna participate in the current books as soon as I finish Black Widow: Forever Red. Cheers!
Q is the one that pops to my mind when this question comes up. I've never been a great fan of episodes in which the crew meets a much more powerful being, and Q was that, ramped up a lot.Having said that, I recognize that it's a great portrayal and suitably annoying like he's designed to be.

i'll start it off.
