I've only read City of Bone... and half of City of Ashes. I really like the series so far. (Jace is HOT... lol)
I've read what has been published so far of the Mortal Instruments! I didn't really like the 4th one, but that might just be me...
And I know! Jace is definitely attractive...

I keep trying (and failing) to start her Mortal Instruments Series. Every time I begin reading City of Bones, I go on this massive book haul and end up reading five other books in its place. Is it worth the read? Should I just stop trying? :(
at Victoria:
I liked the City of Bones. I find the characters to be entertaining and witty. The book wasn't difficult for my lazy-summer brain to follow, but it was interesting enough for me to get my parents to buy the next 2.

I've read the first three books of the Mortal Instruments series and loved them. Haven't had a chance to get the fourth one yet but I'm planning on reading it. Getting ready to start the Infernal Devices series by her as well. Definitely worth the read though.
I've read the first four books of Mortal Instruments, and the first two of Infernal Devices. Personally I think Infernal Devices is way better than Mortal instruments, and I can't WAIT for Clockwork Princess to come out!
The Infernal Devices is better than The Mortal Instruments, but my favorite couple is definitely Alec and Magnus :)
Have read both series and absolutely LOVED them. Cassandra Clare has a definite gift for creating guy characters that take your breathe away. My fav is Will Herondale from the Infernal Devices and the best couple for me hands down is Alec/Magnus. I sure hope they get the Movie version of the Mortal Instruments series right next year.

(Oh my god, another Malec shipper! I understand you.) Sorry. ANyways, I'm refusing to see the cast because I don't want my image of everyone ruined. I feel like they're going to make Alec an evil-seeming guy, and Magnus a freaky sparkly person (I mean he is, but not freaky. That much.)

So true!"
Can I just say I love your picture. And the fact you like Will and Tessa.
Well I said it =)

I haven't read her work, but I really do want to read it. Mostly because I've read a preview for the infernal devices graphic novel. I'm curious to see if it is the same, slightly different, or completely different.
I really don't wanna read the graphic novel b/c it doesn't allow you to picture the characters on your own--it TELLS you what they look like.

Exactly--that's what happened to me and the Hunger Games

I can imagine them my own way however they're described in the books and keep it separate from the graphic novel. It was only a preview. I understand though. It's kind of like watching a film based on a book. It ruins the magic. What the preview did do was make me think that the character Will is silly. Is he?
