Faith was standing in an abandonned barn, all the windows and door shut tightly so that no sunlight could pool in. She was practicing standing as still as ever, her brother((Will make him later)) training her and studying some stuff. He turned around to face Faith and he threw aa knife at her, just barely missing her face. Faith knew why he did that. He had once told her that in order to to stay perfectly still, she had to learn not to flinch. She did nothing, not move one bit.
Dante nodded, allowing Faith to move again. "Good. We'll practice again later," He said solemnly. He turned back to his desk, sifting through his pages and notes.
Faith sighed and slumped her stiff body. She took a seat on her mattress. "What time is it?" She aske her brother. "Check your mental clock," Dante said.
"I don't have one," She hissed.
"Yes you do. If I have one, then you do too. It's still daylight out, so you can't go out. But next time, you check yourself," Dante rolled his eyes. She sighed in frustration and crumpled his sheet of paper.
Faith narrowed her eyes. She felt the Hunger tugging at her, screaming at her to let her monster out and barge through the doors. "What are you working on, Dante?" She asked curiously.
"Nothing."
Faith sighed. She was getting really hungry, but not desperate enough to chew open one of her brother's bloodbags. That blood was cold and not fresh, nothing that could be found in a living body. Plus, she needed Human food, or she'd go insane and kill a mortal, even get caught. Dante had told Faith that their father once tried feeding on an animal's blood for the rest of his life. Didn't turn out too well. He had gone insane and exposed himself in the sunlight. Anyway, Faith wasn't upset about her Feeding restrictions, she was perfectly fine with human blood. She was born a Vamp, she didn't pity the mortals. She decided to try checking her mental clock, since her brother obviously wouldn't help her next time.
Faith concentrated on the time. A few minutes before night... Wait what? No, hours. A few hours until nightfall. She grunted in frustration and desperation. She looked around the barn. Dante had really kept the place in check, allowing no sunlight to filter through any cracks. But it did, however, seem pretty beat up. "Don't you think we should go somewhere more... Stable?" She raised an eyebrow when she noticed how old the wood was. Dante shrugged. "I've been searching. No luck," He said matter-of-factly. "Besides, this barn isn't collasping any time soon ." Faith didn't believe that last part though.
Summer looks around and sighed"I'm bored"she said to herself. She walks around and then sat by a tree.
Faith sighed and climbe the barn walls with ease. When she reached the top, she wasn't even panting. After all, she didn't need to breath. She was already dead. She walked across the creaking floors and sat down, grabbing a bloodbag. She would drink it, when the time came. If the time came.
((Sure :) ))Dante checked his mental clock. "It's night," He called to Faith.
She smiled. Finally. She jumped down and opened the doors, seeing that the moon was just beginning to rise. She grinned through narrowed eyes and set off to the town. She found a lone teenager. Getting closer, she found it was a boy. She could feel the blood pumping in the neck, hear the pulse. She had to stop herself from ripping the boy's throat out. She crept up behind him soundlessly and grabbed his shoulder. Before he could let out a sound, Faith sunk her teeth into his neck and drank. The body jerked, but soon went limp. She pulled away and lay the boy down. He wasn't dead, but he would be unconcious for a bit. She could still feel the Hunger pulling at her. She hadn't had enough human blood the night before, so she was real hungry.
Summer was walking when suddenly she spots another vampire and goes over to the vampire"hello I'm Summer"
Faith turned when she heard a voice. "My name's Faith," She smiled, noticing Summer was a vampire. She remembered she hadn't sealed the bite marks on the boy's neck, so she crouched down and ran her tongue across the marks, which dissapeared right away. She stood up again. Dante sighed. He hadn't had his filling for a long time. He silently entered the town and walked into an alley, where a crying girl stood. He felt her sorrow, and could tell she had just went through a break-up. He decided to leave her be, seeing as she was going through enough pain already. He walked into a bar, and immediatelly sensed another vampire inside.
Faith look at her. "I'm fine. You?" Dante knew there would be some drunk dude in the bathrooms of the bar. There always was. He entered and sure enough there were two drunk dudes hanging out around the sinks. They hardly noticed Dante. He made this quick. Walking up to a guy with his back to the vampire, around his mid-30s, Dante sunk his teeth in and the body jerked. The other man's eyes widened and yelped. The first man's body went limp, so Dante let the body fall after sealing the bite marks. He calmly walked up to the other man and rammed the drunk's head into a stall door. Before another sound came out of the man's mouth, Dante slammed his headagainst the rim of the toilet, knocking him out. He drank the man's blood until he went limp and pale. Dead. Before anybody noticed, Dante left the bar and went searching for Faith.
Faith nodded. "Yep." Dante spotted Faith and walked towards her. "Who's this?"
"This is Summer, another Vampire," She answered. "Summer, this is my older brother, Dante."
Dante nodded to Summer in acknowledgement. "Hello. Nice to meet you," He said.
"hi nice to meet you too"she said smiling to Dante"I was turned into a vampire at the age of 12"she said to Faith.
Faith smiled. "Cool," She said. She always wondered what it was like to be Human. To see the sunlight. In her bloodline, she wasn't able to be out in the sunlight. But she envied other vamps who could. But she wondered what it was like to not drink blood, to feel exghasted. Dante grabbed Faith's arm. "Sorry, but Faith has to do something," He said to Summer before pulling Faith away. "You need more training," He told Faith and led her to an alley. A gamg of humans were crowding around a fight. One man noticed the two. He yelled a warning to the others. "You need to practice your fighting," He whispered. The tallest guy there wickedly grinned. "Well, look who we've got?" He said. Dante kept a straight face. The gang hadn't noticed they were vamps. Dante stepped to the side.
"She's all yours," He said.
"Dante?" She hissed. The tall man grinned wider. "Why, thank you. I'll let you go, for now," and with that, he swung his fist at Faith's head. Without thinking, Faith stepped aside with speed and bared her teeth. The man's eyes narrowed, thinking it was fake. She grabbed his arm and pulled him toward her, her fangs stretching into the bare neck.
Summer went over and looked at Faith's training"so thats how she trains?"she asked Dante'thats cool",Summer smiled.
Dante nodded. Faith sucked the man's blood until he went limp. She sealed the bite mark and dropped the body. She went on with drinking the men's blood. She had to fill up as much as possible, since the Hunger never really left.
Drake walked out of his apartment and went outside. He quickly walked down the sidewalk and continued down a neighborhood. There was a path in the woods at the end of the neighborhood and walked down the path.
Drake silently walked down the path. He looked around uneasily sensing someone around him. He kept his eyes on a look out.
Drake sighed. As always, he never knew how to speak to people, or vampires. He looked away from the dead man and stared down at his feet.
Dante didn't notice Drake. He watched Faith. Faith snarled as the last body fell. She stood up straight, making sure she sealed all the bite marks, and walked backto Dante and Summer. "How'd I do?" She asked her brother.
Dante nodded. "Good."
"What if they tell the authority they were attacked by vampires, though?" She nervously asked.
"Thay'll be ignored. They don't have any proof, and they are drunk. Humans will assume they were too drunk to think straight." He turned around and began to walk. "Since you are just learning how to be a Vampire, besides the time you were young, you should know some important things," He whipped out a knife and cut Faith's arm open.
"Ow! What was that for?!" She screamed as she saw the blood pouring out. Then, before her eyes, she saw her skin stitch itself together. "Again, what was that for? I already know my body heals itself."
"Yes, but then the filling of blood leaves your body. Then, you'll have to Feed again," He gestured to Faith's arm, which was paler then ever.
