When i foudnd this website i fell in love with it as well. I enjoy being able to read about and discuss books i like and have read. I also enjoy being able to get some new recommendations.

Hi, I love to read and I'm pretty open to anything someone recommends me... but I've found I just can't get into vampires, paranormal, fantasy type of books no matter how much everyone raves and how much hype it gets lol. I think I like a range of genres because I like to keep it fresh and not boring, just depends on what I'm in the mood for. The only other genre that touch and go for me is romance, I can't stand the real mushy, lovey dovey, not believable stories but I can deal with a love story when it has more substance and another story line (non-romantic) tied in.

I also read most anything. I am open to a lot of genres. I mostly read at night before bedtime. Days are busy with kids and school activities for the most part. I serve on the board of my local PTA and volunteer at 2 different schools - different than where my children attend.

I do not have many good lend me books because i have not had much time to read, but...there is a lend me section on the nook. You add people via email address. Once they accept your request you can view their lend-able books and they can view yours. If you want to borrow one you ask. you can only lend a book once to one person. The period that you will have the book is 14 days. I hope this helps.
