What about ? those look like clouds with lightening coming out of them on the bottom of the picture.

Do these qualify as clouds? They come out clearer on the actual book.

It's hard to see it as clouds on the cover as opposed to dusk/shade, but if it is clearer on the actual book I'll take it

To me - it looks like she's sitting on a boat, he's going over; below them there's water and to the left is either fog or clouds. If it doesn't work for you, that's fine by me; I was just running it by you ...

Would work? I can sea some cloud like figures merging into the sea spray in my paper copy.
