Kara (karaayako) Would this count as a tiger on the cover even though you can't see the whole thing?

That's enough of a tiger to tell what it is- OK

Vicky (librovert) | 240 comments Would you take Jamrach's Menagerie by Carol Birch ?

It's a little weird because it's in black and white, but the mouth is a tiger. It's striped and if you read the summary an escaped tiger is important to the story, so it makes sense that it's a tiger.

Probably, Do you have a specific title in mind? The Winter Palace: A Novel of Catherine the Great or Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman would work

I have both of those on my shelf right now. I am probably going to go with Portrait, but I may change to The Winter Palace. I watched a biography on her a couple weeks ago and I have been fascinated ever since.

Vi | 184 comments Dlmrose, would you accept Book of a Thousand Days for this task? I know you approved it for task 15.1 for the setting but just making sure it'll fit this one as well.

SandyC (sandyc88) | 406 comments I read Fall of Giants which is set in multiple countries including Russia. May I use this book, or must the book be entirely set in one of the named countries?

It does not have to be set in just one country, but the Russian setting should be significant.
