Alaska Book Group discussion

So when I was living in the lower 48 I was winning giveaways at a pretty decent rate, but since I moved up here and with the hundreds of GoodReads giveaways that I entered I haven't won any.
Has anyone else noticed this too, or am I just having a reeeeeeally long streak of bad luck?...

I haven't had any trouble - I've won 3-4 maybe since I've been on Goodreads. :) Hope it's just a streak that will end for ya!

I hate to be the author promoting a book - so I beg apologies in advance - but I have an ongoing giveaway for "Frozen Highway" which is set primarily in Delta Junction.

I would LOVE to have an Alaskan win the book and read it.

Carol: Click on the "Explore" tab at the top of the Goodreads menu. You'll see Giveaways listed there. There are pages of hard-copy books being given away. All you have to do is register to win and then cross your fingers! Goodreads is also very good about not sharing information from these - so no worries that you are signing up for something you had not intended. They explicitly warn the authors giving the books away to throw the address away after the book is mailed.
