Bridget came to the Meadow. she watched some birds flying around her.

Aqua came to the meadow. She wanted to be alone and she scowled at the other girl. She went up to her."hi"

"hello" said Bridget shyly.

Scout sits down in the grass. He sighs and closes his eyes, taking a deep breath of the fresh air.

Liam heads into the meadow, his favorite place in the world. He whistles a catchy tune.

"so..what are you meant to be?"Aqua didn't mean too sound rude but demons arent exactly polite...:D

Liam looks over at the sound of a voice. "Huh?" He says, not really having heard the question. Liam sees a girl, and walks in her direction.

Aqua sensed a presence behind her and whipped around. you could never be too careful.but she relaxed when she saw a good looking guy walk up to her. she smiled.

"Did you ask me something?" Liam continues in the girl's direction.

"nope.i was talking to her"she tilts her head in bridgets direction."what are you meant to be?you smell like an angel"she wrinkles her nose.

Scout looks up, hearing a couple voices. He jumps up grinning and running in the general direction of where they were coming from. He sees a boy and a girl talking. "Hi!" he yells, right before he trips over a rock and lands on his face.

Liam sees the boy (Scout) and can't help but laugh. Then, turning his attention back to Aqua, he says, "I'm half and half."

Scout scrambles back up to his feet, hearing the laugh, he grinned happily.

"Who're you?" Liam asks the boy, grinning back. "I'm Liam. The one and only."

"Scout!"

"What are you?" Liam asks, unable to determine just from a first glance.

"Angel!" He says happily.

Liam looks him over. "You don't look like one..."

"Oh... Really? Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" His eyes were shining brightly.

"I'm not sure." Liam gives him one last look over and looks into his eyes. "A good thing I guess. I'm a halfy." Liam sits down on the ground and crosses his legs. The sun felt so good on his pale skin.

Bridget watches them talk. she is red in the cheeks and freaked out. she was never good at talking to people. she wanted to fly away or something, but she did not want to be rude.

Scout tilts his head, then look at the girl (Bridget). "What's your name?" he almost sings, like he didn't have a care in the world.

"Bridget" she said softly.

"That's a pretty name!" Scout smiles, hoping the compliment will make Bridget smile.

"Hi Bridget. I'm Liam." Liam smiles and nods at the girl.

Bridget blushes at the comment. she did not really feel comfortable with all the attention focused on her. she wanted to hide away somewhere where no one would find her. she puts on a small smile, hoping that she seemed friendly, even though she did not feel friendly at all.

Liam takes a step towards Bridget. "There's no need to be shy." He smiles again and his sharp teeth glint in the sun. Liam quickly closes his mouth.

Scout grins, "You guys like Knock Knock jokes?"

Bridget see's the boy, Liam's teeth. he said that he was a half-ling, so it is normal for him to have sharp teeth. on the inside she was totally freaked out. but on the outside, she just smiled lightly and said "i am always shy" she said this quietly. her voice was musical, since she loved to sing. she looked over at Scout and nodded at him as if to say, 'yes i do like them'.

"I love knock knock jokes!" Liam says, turning back towards Scout. "Do your worst." He laughs, doubling over.

Bridget put on a slightly fake smile. she did not get the joke. so she just smiled. it felt a little awkward here.

Liam notices Bridget's hesitancy and walks over to her, still laughing quietly.

Bridget looked at Liam walking over. she was unsure of how she should react.

"It's okay." Liam stops walking and holds up his hands in a sign of innocence.

she smiles a little. "sorry, it's just i have never really, talked to many other people in a while. i guess i have forgotten what it is like" she said softly.

"We'll its okay." Liam smiles and reaches out to her. "Just be yourself, and don't worry about being shy."

she smiled, a real smile this time and got up. she took a deep breath. "i don't know what to say" she admitted, with a nervous smile.

"It's okay." He turns away, but not before whispering, "Neither do I half the time." Liam laughs again.

she smiles. "so how long have you been here?" she asked trying to get some conversation in.

"Not long. Maybe...two months." Liam cocks his head, trying to think. "So what are you?"

"Angel" she said softly. "you?"

Liam smiles, his pointed teeth glinting in the sun. "I'm a halfy."

she nodded in understanding. "you are the first halfy i have met" she said with a small smile.

"I'm one of the only ones you'll ever meet." Liam flashes his bright smile again and runs his fingers through his blonde hair.

"well so far this week i have met you and a dark Angel so, i won't really be surprised if i meet a werewolf too" she said with a smile

"I wouldn't be surprised either." Liam looks up at the sun. He basked in the warmth. Surprisingly for a halfy, he was always cold.

she followed his gaze. she looked at the sun as well. "i used to think that if i could fly high enough i could touch the sun" she said, remembering that day.

Liam chuckles. "How did that work for you?"

"not well. i now have a horrible fear of heights and am ashamed to call myself an Angel" she said
