LiteraryMary95 It reminds you of what he dealt with in his childhood. What did you think about Four's background before you finally figure out his real name is Tobias?

Tiffany | 12 comments I loved when you found out his name. I didn't see that coming even though i should have when they mentioned that name at the beginning i should have known there was a reason. I really want to know about his past and his parents. I loved how i could see now how Four was so tough was because of his childhood problems with his dad,Marcus.

LiteraryMary95 Yes, this is one of my favorite parts. I definitely believe that more about Four will be revealed in the 3rd book and I can't wait!

Tiffany | 12 comments I can't wait to see more of Four! I loved Free Four and hope there is more in his pov. I hate marcus and evelyn only because of my attachment to Tobias but what I want to know is about how Tobias acted when he was younger. I know he had to be defiant because of the whole story in Insurgent about the sculpture, ut what i want to know is he like some bad, rebellious character? Anyone have any ideas on that?

LiteraryMary95 I just read Free Four today. It was amazing. I got the Insurgent Collector's Edition today and I am loving it! He is rebellious in some way by just switching to Dauntless but he did it to save himself from abuse. I don't blame him, but I wouldn't attack my father, like Four did in Insurgent. I would show my father compassion (as a way to possibly throw it in his face)

Tiffany | 12 comments I disagree, I would have done what Four did in Insurgent because i couldn't keep saying im dauntless if i didn't. I however thought that marcus would have done something in the scene like defend himself. I don't see how Four could do what you would do because he is not a very compassionate person and he shouldn't have to always be the good guy, even if the motive for doing so was to throw it in his face. I also love the part in Free Four where he mentions how he can't be factionless now that he met tris btw!

LiteraryMary95 I kind of believe that it takes bravery and strength to do the opposite of what the body wants to do. Four truly does have compassion, but when he sees his father he remembers what he did and It just Four's instinct to attack since he was taught it in the Dauntless training.

Tiffany | 12 comments I see your point on how it takes courage to do what you want to do but I do wish that Four did that more in the book. He always did exactly what I expected him to do and when it came to Marcus i do wish that there was more of a motive and explaination on why he beat tobias. I also wanted to see the compassionate side of tobias that he is like towards tris towards other characters just to show he isnt scary like christina says.

LiteraryMary95 I think they need a younger child in the book. You know what I mean so he can save him/her from danger and take him/her to safety. That's the compassion you're probably looking for and I wouldn't mind that. I think more will be explained about Marcus in the 3rd book too since it's such a big topic

Tiffany | 12 comments I do like your idea of seeing him save a little child or do something that will show his kindness and compassion but to be honest, I still don't see four as being that kind of person. I see four as a character that is mysterious and dark and only compassionate towards Tris and I like it that way. I do love Four don't get me wrong i'm just stating my opinion on his character and i do love Tris for being funny and only hope to see a lighter side of Four in book 3 but i just don't know if i will. He has such a tragic past with Marcus and I think he won't be compassionate towards him until Marcus does it first.I do want to see more of Marcus in book 3 but i just don't know what really made him so mad, mad enough to hurt his son. i just want that to be shown and wish it was shown earier in the books.

LiteraryMary95 I understand what you're saying and it's a logical argument
