So is the ruling government "bad?" Do the people want to be ruled? How are they controlled?

Life is pretty close to what it is now, except everything about your life depends on your symbol.
They never knew anything else. So the drudgers are the ones who would revolt the most, and they are kept under close watch.
Other than that, you are who you are and people generally accept it.
Also, the punishment for crime is usually drudger camp. That's pretty good intimidation.
The ruling governemnt isnt bad, like the capitol from THG, but they are sometimes harsh and controlling.

My brother had braces.

I had braces. They were annoying.

Haha I have permanent retainers on the back of my teeth and I wear temporary retainers at night :p
