Kathryn | 32 comments In my copy of the Eye of the World and the Dragon Reborn there is a reference/s in each. I don't remember seeing these in the original book set, so I am unsure if it is in all the copies.
The one in the EOTW makes sense it says "E.O.T.W. - 33" on the bottom of page 719 where Moiraine is talking about Fain, and so I go to page 33 and sure enough that is where we are first introduced to Fain in the Two Rivers.

The one in tDB I don't understand and so I am hoping someone knows what the point of the reference is.
On page 417, Perrin is talking to Moiraine about Faile, and Rand woke up from a dream about Perrin and is in Murandy, "D.R. - 21". So I go to the page and it is about whitecloaks talking about Rand, but I do not see the point of the reference.
On page 437, Nynaeve is healing a maiden of the spear, Dailin, "D.R. - 22"
Page 22 is much the same as 21 and again I saw no point to the reference.

Someone please explain them to me!

Ben | 113 comments i have never heard of that before. check out the publishers page in the front of the book, do you have a special edition or something?

Kathryn | 32 comments I am pretty sure it is not a special edition, it's just the newest edition out with black covers with the WoT symbol.
