Sure doesn't. lol. Another thing that I'm curious about are smooth legs! OMG, lol, an hour with Jane Austen and all we'd talk about is personal grooming. lmao.
Hi Cheryl, It was good seeing you, too. And thank you for inspiring. Even outside of the classroom. you're a wonderful teacher. See you at the next Borders signing and happy new year!
Dan
Oooh, I just went to Borders today, had I seen your message I would have bought your book! I'll buy it the next time I'm at Borders...really interested in reading it! Thanks for letting me know about it!
Hi Cheryl and thanks for the add. So you're doing NaNoWriMo this year! I did it last year and it was a blast. Currently, I'm co-authoring a novel with a friend of 30+ years so not gonna Nano this year. Good luck and have fun!Hugs,
Jeannie
Hello Cheryl,You are correct I did rate the sequel with fewer stars than the original Letters From Pemberley. I enjoyed it as much as the first but with such a simplistic rating system it is hard to place a book with any accuracy. The first rated higher because it was original not a continuance of a concept. I never intended to imply it was written with less style or was less interesting. I consider it to be the second volume is all. I enjoyed the epistolary format.
I am one of those who has read Jane Austen's letters, I even have a photostat copy of her will because I am interested in history, particularly the Empire and Regency periods til the Great Wars. I became enamored with Ms. Austen early then her books became my comfort reading every time I caught a cold or needed to relax. This led to an interest in the broader historic setting.
Since you mentioned your novel I looked up the title and became intrigued by the synopsis. I will read your book and look forward to joining the ChickLit list since it is finally gaining the recognition it deserves as a genre.
Looking forward to your comments when you read the rest of Ms. Austen's works I will watch your list.
Nicole
Yeah, I was actually thinking about reading one of her other series. I think there is one about a girl named Emily? Are you familiar with those?
Yeah the Rory Club! :)Recently I found this page:

Unbelievable list of books - I only read 4 or 5 of the books .. a lot to read in future ;)
It is a one year work experience - that means: I work there without getting money. Poor me! :DBut books around me all the time :D
I want to read your book and I will buy Must Have Done Something Good as soon as I work! :D
Do you know if it will be published in german too??
Hi Cheryl,Yes, I put "Must Have Done Something Good" on my to-read list. Looking forward to it, Andriah :)
Cheryl, I searched my library website, and they don't have "Must've Done Something Good" so I've put it on the list of books for the library to order. When it comes in, I'll read it and review it on my site, Nonfiction Lover. It isn't actually a nonfiction book, but I can tie it in. ;-)Have a great evening,
Hava
